I remember when it was election time many years ago. Everyone wore metal buttons on their clothes so it was no secret who they were voting for.

I am still looking for the button from something Bill Clinton said during his campaign for President.
When asked if he ever smoked marijuana, he replied "Yes, but I didn't inhale". There were buttons everywhere that people were wearing that said "But I didn't inhale".

@blackeagle007 Well you have to admit, no one forced you to drink. We are all responsible for our own actions. Some people just make worse choices/decisions than others. When alcoholics livers are shot or they get cirrhosis, who are they going to blame? Of course you can say that about almost anything - dropping out of school, getting pregnant, cheating on their mate, etc. Now tell me which is the norm.

While addiction isn't a choice, your choice to start drinking was, right? I do applaud you for realizing you have one and are seeking to be free of it by getting help. And again, lots of things can be an addiction, even food or sex. We all have our vices. Yours are no worse than anyone else's.

Just like a woman. And it’s funny majority of those who actually seek help are guys. Lots of women addicts refuse help. Thinking they are too good for rehab. Rehab places has a small amount of female patients

And a lot of women are dumb. But honestly, who would want a female alcoholic? I'm not sure even for sex.

Not blacklisted. It depends on your drinking history. If it is a long-time affair, or has any physical abuse occurred as a result of such an addiction? If so, than your chances of a successful long-term abatement of such an addiction are slim. I think drinking is one of the hardest addictions to get rid of, because it just takes one slip up and one drink to set you back to GO again.
