Yes it is. US politics affects most of the world a little bit espacially when its run by such an extreme President like Trump.

He already threatend Denmark to take over Greenland. Threatend germany to take over the german car manufacturers. and Threatend NATO as a whole. Thats all directly impacting germany and EU.

The Constitiution jut states that they have to attin a certain age, be a citizen for a certsin number of years and live in the jurisdiction that they are running for office in,. Except the President and VP , they have to be born here.
