Possibly finding the grave of Gangas Khan or re discovering the body of Alexander the great. Honestly what I want most are clay tablets from ancient Sumaria that go into more detail about life then or best-case scenario we actually find out who the "Sea People" actually were and where they came from when they plundered the Mediterranean during the bronze age collapse.
I would also be thrilled if we found some kind of prehistoric large civilization in Doggerland but since Doggerland is entirely submerged we're probably going to wait a very long time for something like that. Also, when I say large prehistoric civilization, I'm not talking about Atlantis BS I'm wondering if it's possible that there was a neolithic equivalent of ancient Sumaira though which would be amazing.
If some kind of stone age city state existed Doggerland would be a great place for it because during the ice age it was all above water and probably one of the most fertile and plentiful places in terms of resources that humans could find at the time. Basically, it was probably a real-life version of the garden of Eden but in neolithic times.
There's of course to my knowledge no proof this even ever existed but if it was discovered it would be awesome and mind-blowing.

600 years old, 240 pages and all of it is complete gibberish. Looks real nice though.

It won't be revolutionary or anything but considering how bizarre the book is both in its secrecy and its visuals we would probably find out some interesting things. But again, its probably just gibberish pretending to be a real language with no actual meaning.21 Reply

We've found lots of prehistoric rock art, all showing animals drawn in perfect detail. Yet depictions of humans are always simple crude stick figures. A discovery of a prehistoric selfie would be good.

Ancient aliens. Pre-caveman. Maybe brought up by an earthquake alongside their flattened unearthly-metal ship.

The greatest archaeological find in history would be evidence that aliens visited our planet eons ago. Perhaps a burial tomb with alien symbols on the walls.

I'm probably gonna get roasted for this, but any sort of proof of Christ's existence. We have plenty of writings and statues and even relics, but we haven't yet found any physical evidence that he actually existed.

Except for my art history professor๐
I don't know what that is. Either way, it would still be cool to find a body, even though it could negate some Christian teachings. The resurrection and his other miracles are debatable though.
Personally, I think he was a street magician. An illusionary like David Blaine No historian says that, Julie.

We seem to also edging towards how the pyramids were built and that is the one I'd really like.
