The modern Democratic party is so hyper focused on race and gender, they label every who isn't hyper focused on race and gender as sexist and racist. This hyper focus on race and gender is part of the reason Harris lost. It's OK to call people racist and sexist because they didn't vote for/support a candidate because of their race and gender, what isn't OK is pushing a candidate based on race and gender and not qualification, then labeling everyone sexist and racist when candidate loses like it was their race and gender and not qualification that caused them to lose.

If you’re talking about trying to turn red states into blue states, no. The label alone is enough to convince most that they wouldn’t work towards their best interest. These tactics, however, do work in blue states where they maintain power because those are the biggest issues to their constituents who vote them in.

I'm not referring to red/blue states, more towards winning over Independents who makes up 50% of the electorate and potential Republicans. When Harris lost, instead of Democrats taking a look at things, and going OK this worked, but this this and this didn't, what can we do next time to improve our chances, instead they screamed sexism and racism, which is off putting to voters.

I don’t think her being a woman being off-putting to certain voters is an inaccurate statement. Remember how much people fought against Obama? I still remember that whole “not my president” stuff that started with his campaign

I didn't say her being a woman is off putting, I said accusing voters of sexism is off putting. Sure a small minority of voters didn't vote for Harris because she's a woman, but the vast majority didn't care that she's a woman, and voted based on policy and qualifications.

Most voters were not off put by Harris being a woman, if that we're the case, most Trump voters wouldn't have been begging Trump to choose Tulsi, a woman of color to be his VP.
