I live in California so people might say I'm a little biased, but I really think it IS California. We have pretty much every habitat you can imagine

  OK, but even Mississippi has beautiful areas. California has many, many lovely areas, and hopefully they'll survive the catastrophic wildfires.

  @beefcakebradybatson I don't know how Mississippi got into the conversation. It ranks very low on the beautiful list, however I don't disagree that you can find something beautiful pretty much anywhere

I haven't been to all, and I'm sure each one has its' own beauty. Based on the ones I've seen, it would be a toss up between California and Maine. The coastlines of both is amazing.

A lot of people like New Mexico with its deserts and mountains. Others like Alaska, while still others like Hawaii, They all have their charm

I've been to all 50 states and I haven't seen one that didn't have some beautiful places. It really is amazing. Some states that you wouldn't expect to have anything special really have some beautiful areas. It's hard to put a score on it.

Well in think in the 48 states that are connected could be Mami or California but out if all 50 states it probably Hawaii. However it depends what you think is beautiful and if you’re willing to deal with the hate or cold of states. Some people love Alaska or the colder states of nature.

  I disagree, but assuming you're right, it doesn't matter considering you can't access those places as 94% of the state is private property.
  So what's the point of having all those things if people can't even utilize them
