@exitseven is right about that. What he doesn't mention is that the low rate was because nobody was buying much at the peak of the pandemic, the whole world had the same problems as things started to return to normal, and that even at its peak inflation was about half the rate in the 1980s.

Not to mention that it came down again without a recession and massive unemployment, and wages arguably rose faster than inflation.
