There is a small crappy "river" of sorts flowing through parts of LA sometimes depending on the weather. Probably worth at least 5 minutes of firefighting given how much debris and garbage-laden water is in it.

@msc545 Yeah, I know. I've spent a lot of time on the river in Parker. I just can't figure out what river he is talking about. And it 's 400 miles or so east of LA. Although some of SoCal's drinking water does come from the Colorado through the Aqueduct. But it couldn't really be used for fire fighting. Most of LA's water comes from the Owens Valley and the Sierra Nevada spring/summer snow melt through that aqueduct system.

I have to question the 15 minute fire inspection of equipment coming in. I'm sure there is some logistics/command/control required, 15 min ain't much.

There is NOT enough water or pressure to fight the fires. That's a fact, and they seem to say there is (enough water) when there's vidoe envidence from firefighters there isn't.

That part about hiding the tunnels is unreal. Then again, some people think the earth is flat and others think it's a great idea to go visit the titanic in a 'plastic' sub. You are going to have nut cases. But then again, I understand Heffer did have tunnels in various mansions for his reasons. True?

Put the fires out so we can move on to the next global disaster.

The 15 min inspection is done for all trucks and commercial vehicles entering the state to make sure they have good brakes and tires. This is purely for safety and no other reason. An accident on a CA freeway will tie up traffic for hours and likely kill a few people. In this State - people actually MATTER.

All the houses that appear to be OK and standing near the fire are filled with smoke residue and debris and will need to be torn down... that shit is toxic as hell.
