California Fires. Natural disaster or Act of Terrorism? ?

There have been wildfires in California for decades and it seems to get worse every year. It would not take a genius to figure out that if several fires are set simultaneously during the windy season there would be mass devastation.

It is hard to tell about something to consider. Is the fact that we have a utility company here that doesn't do a very good job of maintaining its own power lines. This company has been the source of many fires as a result of its failure and refusal to do whatever it is that needs to be done to make sure the power lines don't start fires. Lately, they've just been shutting off the power in fire conditions to thousands of people as a way of not starting the fires. I think if you have to shut off your power lines because you're afraid they're going to start fires That means you haven't constructed them properly in the first place. I'm not saying this is what started the recent fires but I think it's part of it.

@msc545 The vegetation near the power lines here have not been maintained like they were before a British company bought the public utility. They do not care if a few yanks lose electricity in the winter as long as they make money..

@exitseven That is true. That company has been fined multiple times and they STILL won't trim the vegetation. Bastards just turn off the power to everyone when they think there is fire danger - you can see how well that didn't work this week. If the arson guys can prove they caused the fire, they need to pay the bill - which will bankrupt them.

Nature has certain played a role, but I think some really scummy people are involved too.

I have seen a lot of Muslim posts on YouTube about how LA is paying now for all the deaths of women and children in Gaza and now they are going to be burned and killed. I even thought with all the fires in separated areas that they may most likely been set on purpose as an act of terrorism. We can thank that schlep Biden for inviting them and welcoming them to the US so they could do this and have their room and board paid for too, thanks to the taxpayers. The question is, what's next on their agenda?

The California fires are basically a Natural disaster... that should have been foreseen and properly prepared for by the authorities; California has had a fire season, enhanced by Santa Ana winds, for decades.

There are reports that these fires have been "enhanced" by people intentionally setting fires (arson) in order to make it easier for looters. Not sure if that is terrorism but it definitely is illegal and those found should be prosecuted.
