Doesn't work like that, States can cast their electors however they wanted. But the casting of said electors is the actual election. Not how the state foolishly decided to cast said electors.

Certain states have foolishly created unverifiable elation systems and based upon the unverifiable results of those those "election system" have decided to cast their electors. That is their bushiness the most congress can do is send it back to the states for verification.

Ultimately it is the state's choice to care about election fraud or not, clearly those states do not care. So you get the results you asked for.

I am not entitled to a direct vote for president anymore than you are. The actual responsibility of the federal goverment and executive are probably not the sort of responsibility you want the people voting directly on. That president's job like any executive is ultimately to carry out the will of congress in a way respectful of the limits of the constitution.

That means he shoudl either answer directly to that congress as is the case with parliamentary system and to a lesser degree as was the case in the original version before the last minute creation of the electoral cottage or the states who stand to lose from the breach of the same constitution.
As the electoral cottage actually did before 1832 when too many of them simply ceded their vote to popular vote of their population.

Where we might do this better today with modern communication is a reduction of terms of implementation of recall but not direct popular vote. We the people act too often as a mob without concern for the very rule of law an executive must be dedicated to for a congressional sytem to work!

That is not what Trump's document says nor is it what he is doing. Which isn't even close to his actual constitutional responsibility to not only interpret the laws but the Constitution in so far as his own actions with the resources congress gives him.

Each branch of goverment has the responsibility of interpreting the Constitution within their respective powers and enforcing that limit upon the other 2. In regard to laws the executive MUST have some interpretation of the law simply to enforce them.

This interpretation is generals provided by the Authority general in an attempt to be consistent with what the Court is willing to uphold.

This is how a Congressional system works! With the only laws actually enforced being the intersection of what they all agree on.

This power was even first reconized by the Court in Marbury vs. Madison (1803) when they famously asserted their own independent power as well.

You need to read it better and know what it's in response to. Trump was being blocked by judges due to the unconstitutionality of his previous executive orders. This declares that they are no longer allowed to do so, and that only he is allowed to interpret the laws for his executive orders.

Congress cannot create any other executive authority independent of the elected president.

This power is no where to be found in the Federal constitution and their argument to the contrary that they can in conspiracy with the other branches requires that conspiracy be maintained and thus effective still under the executive branch who may at any time refuse it.

To claim otherwise would be to allow one president to remain in office in perpetuity via said agencies. Wielding powers that the constitution has delegated to the existing president if it has allowed at all.

Just because you have declared the president is subject to said arbitrary limit no where found in the Constitution doesn't mean he is.

No branch let alone previous goverment is allowed to commandeer any future branch with arbitrary limits. Only states can do that with Amendment to the Constitution.

The Constitution does not say that congress can create separate executive branches to be run independently by appointees of past presidents or congresses, it say there is only one executive branch and the president is in charge of it.

The court can nullify their unconstitutional acts by refusing to convict anyone who ignores them, while congress can nullify undesirable or unconstitutional act by simply refusing to fund or authorize them.

What a branch can't do is tell either of the other branches what to do, this is the whole point of a 3 branch system of goverment.
