Depends on what you want from a friends group. I value things like good vibes and trustworthiness. If I called a random friend today and asked if I could come over and crash on their couch they would most likely ask what I wanted for breakfast tomorrow. What you want from your friends however is up to you.

Simple or not, most people appear to manage a pretty good job. There are of course strategies you can employ to make it easier to achieve a better result but success should be pretty much guaranteed if you put in the effort.

Not really. I work in a field where we depend on each other for basic survival. Scammers need not apply.
