Americans: In the last election, did you vote for the candidate you believed in or against the party you disliked most?

Trump won both the electoral college and the popular vote. With numbers like that, it makes me wonder what people's mindsets were when casting their vote.

I voted for the candidate I believed in.

I voted against the party I disliked most.

I'm American and I didn't vote

Let me clarify I've heard a lot of people say "I don't like Trump, but he's the lesser or two evils" this leads me to believe that people are voting against the policies that they disagree with, rather than voting for the candidate they think is the best person to be president.

I didn't vote for president in the last election. There wasn't anyone worth voting for and I'm tired of voting for the lesser of two evils.

I did go to the polls and vote. I just skipped the president.

I have voted for the lesser of the evils too many times in my life. I just won't do it any more unless the difference is huge, which wasn't the case this last election. Both candidates were absolutely horrible. It's a sad state when we have such horrible choices. Like seriously, out of millions of people this is all they can come up with?

I voted for Trump. Biden was so shitty, his own party wouldn’t let him run again. That backfired, because I believe Biden could’ve done way better than Kamala.

I didn't vote because both are unfit to be president. Voting gives our masters the excuse to claim the American people have spoken. If we refuse to vote in their rigged elections, that excuse would sound hollow.
