How do you feel about Sean Duffy confirmation?

Sean Duffy was confirmed by the United States Senate to the office of Secretary of Transportation on January 28, 2025 by a vote of 77–22.

Duffy is the former representative from Wisconsin's 7th congressional district. He represented it from 2010 till 2018. His wife is Rachel Campos-Duffy who is a Fox News news personality. They have 9 children together, the youngest of which has a Down Syndrome. Duffy didn't run for reelection in 2018 to help his wife take care of their youngest child.

Over many years the US has put in place regulations to make autos more efficient and less polluting. He came into office and ripped up those regulations, yet auto experts doubt his new standards will lower auto prices, but will increase bad emissions.

Seems fine, it's very hard to fuck up Transportation Secretary, yet his predecessor is likely the worst one we've ever had by a wide margin. Hopefully, we will forget he exists for the next few years.
