Most crimes involving immigrants are actually perpetrated against them. Migrant crime is more accurately crimes against migrants. The seizing of people for deportations aren't done on any legitimate intelligence. Seeing someone who is Hispanic or speaking Spanish, doesn't make them illegally here. Some are children of citizens born here. There's no valid way to tell based on looks, and Trump is doing it based on who looks like they may be here illegally. Most people don't carry around their green card or passport, because it's not needed in everyday life.

There have been ICE officers and people posing to be ICE officers sexually assaulting people they assume to be illegal immigrants.

It's gross that many people on the right will excuse those crimes and say "well they shouldn't have crossed"

All the people being swept up by ICE in the last week and deported were all good democrats, especially the guy that beat his pregnant girlfriend to death in front of her 5 year old son and especially this guy.

Based on my observations, the biggest reasons are:

1) Virtue signaling

2) White guilt

3) The belief that more illegal immigrants means more Democrat votes

That last one backfired on Democrats for the first time in 2024, because Latino citizens voted for Trump in high numbers because they don't want the illegals either.
