Privatize more, a lot. Govt in USA grew way too large, too fat. Minimize govt.

there has to be a balance but likely we go too far the privitize direction, and that will cause problems, then we go back. Anything works when you have $. It's a question of what happens people don't have $ for things that are private.

The main benefit of public is if you're not happy how thing ms are run you can express that at the ballot box or give your local politician a piece of your mind. Privatisation is just about shirking responsibility and passing the buck.
I don't believe everything should be public but if they exist for the functioning of the country them they should be run for the benefit of citizens and not shareholders.

Years ago a government job always paid less than a similar job in the private sector. The big draw was good benefits and a modest pension. Now government jobs all pay 6 figure salaries complete with benefits and a bloated pension at the end,.
Trump is reigning in the federal payroll which is out of control. cutting many non essential employees and privatising when appropriate.
