Are you concerned about how he would handle a situation of this magnitude in the future?
27.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. He did not take a centralized approach to this. Instead he provided the assistance that every state needed. Wherever there was a crisis Trump was there with the solution. Even Gavin Newsome said that Trump gave him all the help that he needed. He also rallied American manufacturers to build ventilators that were neded for Covid patients. Nobody that needed one went without one. We had a surplus that was sent to other countries.
Trump set up field hospitals in various places in America and had 2 ships outfitted as hospital ships.
His program Warp Speed removed the roadblocks nd got the cOvid vaccine produce in 6 months instead of 6 years.
He had daily briefings and kept citizens informed about the virus and what the government was doing.
When his term was over the vaccine had just been produced. The new administration distributed it by racial standards and people were fired for not taking the vaccine. The administration passed a law prohibiting anyone from collecting unemployment benefits that were fired for not taking the vaccine.
Schools and businesses were locked down. Even tough it was proven that young people were in very little danger from the virus they were forced to take the shot or they would be denied an education.
Many first responders and military personnel were fired as well.
If Trump had won in 2020 we would not still be dealing with the results of the pandemic.21 Reply

1 yVery poor initial response. I think he thought it was just going to buzz through and go away. So that was a bad miscalculation.
One of the few things Iāll give him credit for, and not that he was behind any of the science, but Operation: Warp Speed was under his watch, and that led to Biden being able to deliver the vaccine, particularly to my elderly, who was my main concern.
I did get to sneak in with him as his caregiver, and get one of the initial rounds that was for seniors, though. That was definitely a relief. And we DID get Covid (nice going, Aunt Sandra😒), and my dad legit almost died, and I can only think the vaccine made the difference between life and death. And mine was more or less asymptomatic, other than (if this makes sense) I could FEEL the spot in my lungs it was trying to latch onto, and just couldnāt get its footing, which I definitely credit to the vaccine as well. And I have asthma, so Covid is Bad News Bears for me too.
But yeah, anywayā¦itās not been often over the past ten years or so that Iāve been able to find much pride in being American, but that was definitely pride-worthy, more so our scientists, but credit to Trump and Biden for getting it done and delivered👍

u 1 yLet's see, he told people to inject bleach and shine lights on the area. To use ivermectin which does nothing. He sold masks and medical equipment to Russia when we needed them here. He denied that it was even an issue and let millions die. He wanted to test less often so that the numbers didn't look as bad.
He finally admitted it was an issue and paid a bunch of money adding to the national debt for an actual med that worked so that's about the only good thing he did.
He's awful at dealing with a crisis and is willing to sacrifice all of us if it means he looks good and he gets paid.14 Reply@Ez-Bri-Z_v2 you have the freedom to be a fool

And all the other idiots of the country wanted round two?

1 yTo speak honestly, once the schools shutdown and I felt āisolatedā I turned to the President of The United States of America to make sense of all this. He claimed we were rounding the corner and that this should be gone by Easter, turn to Summer as the weather warms up, turned toā¦. All of a sudden we got audio tape admitting he knew back in February that there was a deadly disease. āI always played it down, didnāt want to create a panicā & āThis is deadly stuffā.
Not to mention Iād watch rally after rally and interview after interview (āPeople are dying thatās true, It is what it isā). I compared that to his political opponent Joesph R. Biden who would host small car rallies, zoom fireside chats, and wear a mask while promoting CDC Regulations which I firmly believe won him the election. He spoke directly to the people affected and criticized Trump Administrationās handling.

*Not to mention that Pandemic Plan President Barack Obama put into place to allow CDC to keep an eye on China just in case they tried to hide such a deadly disease which Trump revoked 2018 so an employee of the govt who was upset about it uploaded the document online for the world to view and it made me furious. Note that when the pandemic had the vaccinations, red state deaths outpaced blue city deaths clearly demonstrating it was a Pandemic of the unvaccinated once the vaccines were made available.

6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I disagreed with his Operation Warp speed. He was misinformed.
Fast tracking "experimental" mRNA jabs and allowing them to receive emergency authorization even though there were other means of combating covid was an evil plot by Gates and big pharma.
Trump should have educated himself, fired Fauci, ignored the WHO, and cleaned out the corruption in the CDC.
The Biden policy of lock downs, mandatory masking and social distancing was incredibly harmful to human health and the economy, which was the plan all along.
The use of remdesivir along with ventilators was murder.
The mRNA jabs were deliberately harmful. They caused death and permanent injury to millions and are a ticking time bomb inside people who got them.10 Reply- 3K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
1 yTrump didn't "handle" the Covid-19 pandemic. He mishandled it like the ignorant self-absorbed buffoon he is. He told people to drink bleach and eat horse dewormer or stick a UV light up thier ass to kill a virus. But he undermined medical science by telling people to not wear masks or get vaccinated.
2nd time around? It will be no different. tRump is never going to get any smarter or grow a conscience.
20 Reply 686 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Covid wast he one major crisis his administration faced. His administration totally blew it ("Its just the flu") and 10s of 1000s of Americans die needlessly. USA had one of the worst outcomes in the western world. BS over science. This should tell you a lot about the next term. Why to Americans have such short memories? Hell he has already chosen to leave the WHO...
20 Reply1.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Pretty simple, he did not handle it. He just pushed all the responsibility onto the states and pretended Covid19 did not exist more or less. Kind of what he is doing with bird flu right now which might actually result in a 2nd pandemic. Truly the plague president if you ask me.
12 Reply- 1 y
bird flu isn't going to be a pandemic, it's deadly and will be short lived, viruses need hosts to survive, if a deadly virus wipes out all the hosts, the virus dies with it, it will likely become a large scale epidemic that will be quick but painful nonetheless, covid lasted longer because it didn't kill everyone it came into contact with, but because bird flu is more likely to kill whoever is infected means it will run out of hosts quickly,
1 yAs a foreigner that I'm? I think he did a terrible job throughout his first term. Every decision seemed to always become a negative and somehow the only competent president has been Obama and Biden as competent office holders. Praise the democrats praise 👏🏻 💙 their blue hearts of joy democrats

You should take off your blue lenses and see the reality!!
3.3K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I think he would have done more. The Democrats did their best to stop him from doing more.
I remember when foreign countries had epidemics. All flights from those countries were canceled until things cooled down. Democrats called Trump some phobia when he suggested to do that. Plus people just canāt seem to stay home when sick anymore!23 Reply- 1 y
Remember how Tom Hanks and his wife got covid when they were in Australia and, a few weeks later, they were perfectly fine again because SOMEBODY cured them? Hmmmm, too bad the rest of the world couldn't have had those cures!!

You surely do!
4.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I thought he did wonderful. I wouldnāt have done any mandates either but he bowed to democrats pressure. The reality was nobody knew anything on what to do. It was just a guessing game and the democrats guessed wrong. Plus he had car companies manufacture ventilators. Not a single person in America had to share a ventilator like in other countries
10 Reply12.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. He should have been prosecuted for that. In fact it's one reason he was so desperate to get back into office. There was an upcoming court case for how he handled the pandemic.
30 Reply1.3K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. just fine, all of the things he wanted to do the dems blocked him, and later ended up doing those same things and then blamed Trump for not doing them.
Funny how that worked out.23 ReplySo, people bitching about what Biden did, ignore the fact that Trump tried doing the same, just failed? Is that what you trying to say?
Funny how that works out, indeed. So glad I'm not stuck in this cultural hell referred to as American politics.- 1 y
@NordicInScandinavia He didn't fail. He got the vaccine in record time!!

@NordicInScandinavia
Back when Trump was president, he proposed mandating things like closing the boarders, limit travel and many other things to help stop the spread of covid.
The democrats blocked him as they had control of the house.
And after Biden was elected, he did all of the things that Trump had proposed doing and more, and the democrats voted for doing all of those things.
You are right about US politics.
1 party could find a way to end world hunger, wars, cancer and have world peace, but the other party would not vote for it because they didn't come up with the idea.
Kind of like a couple of 4 year old kids arguing about nothing.

1 yhe handled it prett well. he didn't force any mandates, didn't spend trillions on a useless vaccine that did more bad than good and encourage people to stay strong, unlike someone.
he also tried to stop covid19 from ever coming to our land by stopping all the flights and ships that were coming from China but unfortunately democrats stopped him and tried labeling him "racist"

@Fireguy17 And Joe FORCED everyone to get those shots and, quite a few got VERY sick and ended up disabled by them!! Eric Clapton got them and he can't even play guitar anymore because of them. They fucked up his hands! All he had to do was take HCQ or Ivermectin or the stuff my neighbor's family took when they got covid: Robitussin DF and Tylenol!
