Am I wrong for having a group of protesters arrested for felony criminal trespassing on my company property?

They were these free Palestine protesters. They were on a megaphone. My company has a parking lot that is marked no trespassing, private property, and trespassers will be towed. I went out to greet them, and asked them to leave as they were on private property and were interfering with business. They refused, so I called the police and had them all charged with felony trespassing. Apparently some people think I shouldn't have the right to keep those pieces of shit off of my property.

This story sounds made up, to be honest.

But if it really is true, then no, you did nothing wrong. They were literally messing up your business, costing you large amounts of money, and potentially losing you clients, harming your reputation, and making it harder for you to get business in the future.

In that case it doesn't matter what you think of their message - you gotta look after your own interests.

You asked them to exit your property (which is more than most people would do)

This is why America is so great. You can own property and have trespassers arrested. If somebody breaks into your house you can shoot them.

Since it is actually private property, you were within your rights. If they were outside, but not on company property, then there might have been no legal standing you had, but they still may have been removed if you asked.
