Hated on not because you have done something morally wrong or incorrect.

Hated on because people don't want to see you succeed. You refuse to partake in their corruption, or you stand up for what is right.

In 2016 I had a Trump bumper sticker on my truck. I usually drove around town and people would honk and wave t me or give me the thumbs up. One day I am driving to the dump and somebody behind me honks it was a woman in a Black Escalade. I just smile and wave at her. She follows me into to dump and I freak out a little because she starts screaming at me, calling me a fascist and telling me Trump is a Nazi. She looked funny with her eyes bugging out of her head and she was waving her arms around.

I just started laughing at her and I looked around and there were others looking t her and laughing. I guess she figured out that most of the guys dumping their trash were Trump supporters so she got in her fancy car and left..
