I know a guy who has accepted and completely understands he is a narcist and this dude openly admits that is does do everything as long as it's benefitial to him.
The sad thing about him is that he realises that it's nearly impossible to find lasting friendships and relationships unless they will accept that he is who he is. But what he really meant by that he knows he is almost guaranteed to live a life in lonelyless because sooner or later people won't accept his behaviour any longer and they will leave him because of it
