Oh I can work some crazy hours when I'm on an engagement. They are usually time sensitive with large sums of money at stake. But it's all project based. I can always say no to an engagement. It's not about the money at this point. It's partly the people and partly the puzzle, interesting unique situations. And the long hours are something I'm doing because I enjoy the project, not some drudgery.

I am not greedy, like the common Trumptard. So my impressive wealth will last me a lifetime. I work by choice. They have free Starbucks coffee and a sparkling beverage machine at my workplace and most of the deadbeats who are employed there only show up on Tuesdays because of a "work" from home policy. I like going in everyday except on those Tuesdays. I drink lots of free beverages all week long. But I try and take Tuesday vacation days to avoid the deadbeats, or the "20 percenters" as I call them. And I have 23 vacation days left this year. :)

The average is like 300 and I'm seeing conflicting results for biden between the average and 500.

The only thing I know for sure is bush jr took over 1000 vacation days peak of war on terrorism we ultimately lost.

After I had been with my company for 10 years, my vacation time continually accumulated at a rate of 30 days per year. I could save up to 6 weeks before it stopped accumulating.
One time I took a month off and had already accumulated 2.5 more days while I was gone.

We worked 9 hours Mon-Thurs and 4 hours on Fridays. So on all the weeks when there was a federal holiday on Monday, I would spend 4 hours of vacation time to take the previous Friday off to get a 4 day weekend.

i mean a president works 80+ hours a week, so i think it's fair for them to have a few more days off.

me personally, i get 20 days per year but i only work 4 days a week. considering that most people work 5 days per week, i'd count the fridays as "vacation" so i get 72 per year. and that's excluding

so that means overall i got 79 vacation days in 2025 :D
