Illegal border crossings dropped 90% in just a few weeks under Trump. So why did the Democrats lie for four years and blame it on Republicans?

For four years the Democrats were telling us over and over again that there's nothing they could do about the illegal invasion of our country across the Mexican border because the Republicans wouldn't agree to their corrupt bill in Congress.

President Trump comes in and within a couple of weeks, with no bill in Congress, he shuts down 90% of the illegal invasion and is on the way to a 60-year record low illegal border crossings.

One of the objectives of the Biden administration was to let as many illegal aliens into the country as possible. Before the election Biden went to south America to tell people if they came to America they would not be turned away. Biden even bought them special "team Biden" T Shirts.

Once the word got out that all you had to do is walk across the border and you would get free everything for the rest of their lives. The caravans started before Biden was inaugurated and millions were headed for our border. The democrats were working on legislation so that they all could vote but Republicans took control of the house. If this did did not happen and they were able to have illegal aliens vote, democrats would never have to worry about another election for as long as there was a country left. The democrats miscalculated and the resulting crime and fiscal calamity that has plagued America since the Biden open border became the top issue in the 2024 election and propelled Trump and the Republicans into the leadership role of the country.

All correct. But there is one thing that is critical about the illegal invasion that has never mentioned in the media.

Illegals don't have to be able to vote to influence the balance of political power.

They are counted in the census and the census is used to decide how many members of the House of Representatives will represent each state. The more the population the more seats they get in the House. For someone known reason I never hear this discussed in the media but it is absolutely critical. And it's one of the biggest motivations behind these so-called sanctuary cities and states. They want to build up their populations by flooding their states and cities with illegals. It isn't even necessary to get them to vote to have a very profound effect on political power.

yes that is true. I am surprised that President Trump is not trying to change that. I imagine congress could pass a law changing the criteria of the census.

It's possible. I think he even has a shot at ending that birthright citizenship. It's probably a long shot but I think that even if he can't get it completely eliminated they may put limitations on it which would be a great move in the right direction.

Forgot to mention that the census also has a big effect on other things like how much money is allocated to states by the federal government for certain things.

It's a huge problem that needs to be addressed.
