STUNNING border results! ZERO illegals were released at the border into the country compared to 56k same time last year. Why were the Democrats lying?

In a stunning result just released there were ZERO illegals released into the country in the latest month compared to 56,000 released by the Biden administration in the same period a year earlier.

The most secure border in the history of the country under Trump. The most insecure border in the history of the country under Biden.

Yet the entire 4 years of his regime the Democrats lied to us over and over and over again saying that there was nothing they could do because the Republicans weren't passing a new law to prevent the invasion.

Now we know that we didn't need a new law. We just needed a new president.

LIARS! They did massive damage to this country that will take many years and billions and billions of your dollars to reverse and they should never be elected to positions of power again.

While that information is accurate, as far as I can determine, it's also only half the story.

You claim that we only needed a new President, and that Democrats are all liars, etc. However, do you recall the proposed border bill (S. 4361, the Border Act of 2024) introduced by Democratic senator Chris Murphy just last year?

The very bill that had bipartisan approval in both the House & Senate? The bill that would have given Biden the authority to do exactly what you're praising Trump for? The bill that was about to pass until Trump himself told Republicans to kill it, because he needed something to run his campaign on?

You can idolize & praise the new border numbers all you want; that's fine. Lower numbers of illegal crossings is a good thing. Please get your facts correct, though.

It was the Republicans, at the direction of Trump, himself, that prevented Biden from doing this very same thing last year, not the Democrats. If you want to call someone a liar, well, look to your own, first.

The idea that we need a new law to secure the border is bullshit plain and simple. And Trump just proved it. The president has all the authority that is needed to make it happen and the Democrats lied to America over and over again for four straight years while the country was invaded with tens of thousands of dangerous criminals and tens of millions of people whose first act upon entering our country was to break our laws.

Except that Trump did it by executive order, rather than by an act of law through Congress.

While technically within his scope of authority, the main difference is funding. Part of the Border Bill of 2024 would have been the appropriation of funding, via Congress, to financially support new & increased border operations.

Trump's EO, however, does not include increased funding, because that's beyond the purview of the Executive branch, so ICE & the Border Patrol have been doing much more work on the same budget.

That's why there is reporting, now, the they are already about $1 billion over budget, and are at risk of running out of funding as early as next month. Because Trump took a shortcut.
