I said this before, if it were a US Maine situation or Vietnam or World War II or something I’d proudly fight as a patriot since everyone else would be in the same boat / not much choice in the matter once the news starts justifying the aggressive action.

However if it were for ‘Greenland’ or ‘Panama’, Hell no! I ain’t dying for stupid personal grievances of Trump, let his foot soldiers die for Trump. I’m dying for my Country, Constitution, and Family’s protection not for some man to rename Greenland ‘Redwhiteandblueland’ or taking back the ‘Canal’. Screw that!

Been there done that. But not drafted. ROTC in college and a US Army officer for 15 years. At my age the probability of them trying to bring me back is somewhere between slim and none.

But knowing what I know now, I wouldn't advise any young person to go running into the military to do the bidding of a regime this corrupt. Old White men will once again be sending the children of the poor to do the dying or sacrifice their bodies. Then they will abandon them when they come home broken.
