Not sure where you are from but in the U. S. I'm not aware of the draft being activated and we are still on voluntary service. I say this because I am a veteran and would more than likely get a letter before that since they already trained me. Also we have provisions now that put debts like that on hold while you serve in situations like that. It's why they ask if people are military when applying for a loan. Not to mention we get pd while serving and costs are minimal when deployed. The feed you and provide you with the basic gear you need
I am in the Army. Here is what they give us. We receive what is known as BAH or Basic Housing Allowance. It is an extra monthly payment based on the postal code of your primary residence on record. Every post has several buildings dedicated to various admin tasks. Refered to as Finance, or Legal these buildings provide military, DOD Civilian, and contractors who are specialized various admin tasks. Basically free lawyers and accountants. Each battalion also has an S1 section of administrators who can also help with Finances, or legal.
Auto pay or find someone you can trust like your family that can help you. There is also the option to frezze your phone, internet bills till you get back

If you are reserved, you can live with civilians.
As for if the men get drafted, and can’t pay their bills, I advice letting the people you owe money know what is going on.

They pay you a salary, until you get killed. But if you're dead, bills will be the least of your problems.
First the military pays its soldiers, next most banks will work with active military personnel to defer payments while deployed ocer seas.
The US draft won’t work with modern warfare.

Just cause they haven't done it since 1973 doesn't mean they won't do it again, by law I think they can still do it, it makes sense like this tho cause in a national emergency it won't matter what people think, you either die fighting or you die with the country, I don't find it so unlikely, putin is like another Hitler, egotistical and blinded by power, there's no limit to what he can do, as his country grows bigger his head might as well and he might start trying to take over other countries, all I know is that putin is dangerous with power and a world war isn't too far off the table in my opinion

Basically yeah but it's a major issue with the national guard right now. The guard is really for state defence, state or national emergencies but the US government currently deploys the guard as its the regular military and tour of dutys are 12 months Long.
