Trump understands diplomacy over there better than probably any other president we've ever had, but I don't think he understands that the Palestinians themselves (not just Hamas) are the problem as far as everyone else in that part of the world is concerned. For some reason, nobody wants to ask the simple question of why the other countries in the area have locked them out, why Jordan (which is overrun with Palestinians who left decades ago and didn't look back even after trying to take over) hasn't done the same thing with its own beachfront properties, or acknowledge the extremely on the nose (if you've been there) racial/tribal hierarchy that exists in the middle east and southwest Asia that puts the Palestinians at the very bottom. This means none of the Arabs with money, or westerners rightfully fearful of what might happen to them are going to show up and keep those developments financially afloat. Want to set up Disneyworld Gaza? Mickey Mouse's likeness is literally a suicide bomber in Gaza media, and that's what the children over there know him for.

Reality is it's a great marketing joke. Yes, Gaza could be the next Monaco... trouble is people would rather die in a pit than give up their beliefs and grudges.

You know the old story, the last war is fought with sticks and stones. When will these family members figure out how to get along? Maybe "Palestine" has been crushed enough they will flex, but I doubt it for long. The hate runs deep in that land.
