Trump has been accused of being a KGB asset as early as 40 years ago.

It has been, confirmed, he won the first election in large part due to Russian election interference.

Now you should take those statements with a lot of salt. What should be clear however is that Trump is and always has been a known friend of Russia. He is placing his personal friendship above the conflict.

We, especially in the west, do get a very one-sided portrayal of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Reality is more complicated than that and Russia is not quite as bad as it is portrayed although even at the end of it they remain the most guilty party. Although a full picture involves blame for Ukraine, Europe and especially the US for starting the conflict too. Ultimately though, Russia pulled the trigger.

But well. That's it. Trump is pal's with Russia and has been for most of his life. He may or may not be a russian asset. He definitely acts like one but outside of the fact that he behaves like one (including that little debacle of him handing Russia the identity of US assets in Russia after which US had a record number lf assets killed the same year - for which he promptly pardoned himself) and his background checks out, but there is no hard evidence of it.

But yes. Friend with Russia. He also tried to extort Ukraine for money and Ukraine said "What do we get in return?" To which Trump said "Nothing". Which soured their relatiom and shortly after he called a certain someone a dictator.

Do you mean the part where Trump allgedly handed off and got dozen of US operatives killed? Yes. There is no hard proof.

The proof is basically just that it was fine for dozens of years. Trump met Putin. Trump asked for the intel. Days later everyone on the list Trump got ended up being killed. That is not proof. Worrying circumstances, definitely.

I think Trump thinks he's rope-a-doping Putin. But Putin is playing Trump as well. I don't have a problem with Trump letting Zelensky know that the United States is on the United States side. But I do think Trumps insecure need to let the world know he's strong hurts him and our countries position.

Let's be real. When the rubber meets the road the United States has no allies. I mean they are in word. But in reality they are all out for themselves. But we still on some level have to play the game with them. Because while the United States has the power to face off with ANY country. And maybe even multiple countries, there have been 2 world wars. In the event of a 3rd (God forbid). We WILL not be able to repell half the globe. So in that sense we don't need our "allies" looking the other way in that event, choosing neutrality or worse, switching sides.

Putin has so much dirt on Trump that Trump literally takes his side on everything. Talking to Trump might as well feel like talking directly to Putin for Zelenskiy since Trump is a constant echo of Russian misinformation.

If Biden would have shared an ice cream cone with Putin before he invaded Ukraine. Then told him that any little incursion into Ukraine was unacceptable. But if he did. To expect repercussions. Maybe this war would have never happened.
In my opinion. Biden had a big part in allowing this war to happen.

It is really Biden's fault. His weak and incompetent leadership was a signal to Putin that he could invade Ukraine. When Biden said that a little incursion would be okay was an invitation for Putin to invade.
