I think it was good. Zelenskiyy was used to dealing w past leaders who just gave him what he wanted. Not this time. For Zelenskiyy to come into the US thinking he has weight to throw around, nonsense. People online crying about how it was disrespectful, childish, etc. It happens all the time. We were just lucky to have an insight into what does happen at times. It’s not all rainbows and butterflies. The American people, even other countries have never seen what really goes on in these meetings sometimes till now. I don’t believe Zelenskiyy has much of a leg to stand on. Who else is going to back them? They have problems w recruiting men to fight in this war, it’s conscripted. What happens when they run out of men to fight their war? We send US troops. No way. I spent 10 years in the military. I’m not about sending our kids to fight some else’s war. Ukraine would have been doe in less than a week had the US not funded them.

What Trump did to Zelensky yesterday was put him in his place. Zelensky deserved to be treated the way he was because he has been disrespectful and ungrateful.

No they do not go to Ukraine. We only send them the second rate stuff. The really expensive weapons don't even go to the US armed forces. They go to weapons laboratories here in the US where their lethality is excruciatingly evaluated and scientists create very optimistic projections about what they might do if they were ever deployed. They are in fact never deployed because they aren't built correctly. They don't work very reliably or for very long and the defense contract that you stood want anybody to know that all of that money has been spent on what turns out to be extremely expensive and very defective products but no military person would tolerate for very long.

Second grade weapons are weapons that the defense department marks for sale to other parties or for export. So the defense contractors can do important things like changing the color of them and doubling the price that they charge the defense department.
