Everyone knows that the U. S. government does not keep its word, and everyone knows that the U. S. government lies. Indeed, everyone knows that the U. S. promised Russia that NATO would not move eastward, and it did anyway.

Funny thing...

Trump may have done some questionable things over the years, but he stuck to his military promises over his first term. Trump actually had the audacity to suggest that NATO is overreaching and too reliant on American military strength.

I don't think he was particularly respectful to Zelensky, but I seriously doubt Putin would have started the war if Trump had been in the White House.

The need for NATO ended with the dissolution of the Warsaw Pact, but successive NATO leaders ignored the treaty signed by the US, UK and Russia while Major, Clinton and Yeltsin were running things that guaranteed there would be no Eastern expansion. What actually happened was no different than if Russia had actually placed missiles on Cuba and not listened to JFK. The difference is the Russians have been in no hurry to start a potentially nuclear conflict.

I'm not a fan of everything he's done, but finding furnished housing for us disaster victims within a week of taking office when Broken and Whorish and left US citizens in tents in winter claiming there was no money, yet were sending billions to fund a war they actually allegedly had enough backing globally to stop instead seems suspicious.

I think Putin and Trump respect each other. I don't think either man wants to start WW3 because they're both smart enough to know nobody wins it.

The western nations lost easily 5% of taxes from sanctions limiting trade to Russia. Let mcdonald's sell overpriced garbage again. Better profit margins then military experts. Western capitalism dosen't like a few million less customers for any reason.
