nobody in their right mind would believe that this is worth what it has cost them. It was a war of choice that Putin Arrogantly thought he could get away with in a week… and yet there are still people out there willing to die for him and their BS cause. Makes no sense. Why don’t you blame the person really responsible?

While many Russians absolutely do not buy into it, it is a bit like the US situation right now. Less than 30percent wanted Trump. Even less people now. He's even more clearly a fraud than Putin. Yet, here he is. Breaking laws every week.

From an outsiders perspective it is obvious both countries should rally and throw them out of government. But from the inside, whether it is being subject to propaganda, lacking an objective view or honestly just the fact that it is incredibly difficult to get something started it is much harder to get to the point of a serious call to action.

There is no speculation. You can pick any month he has been in power and you will find not just questionable behavuour but outright crimes. What does that say about a person? Rather than looking to find their crimes, you need to search for a time they did not commit one.

This is what people voted for. And it’s only been not even two months. Check in again in a year.

To be clear. With a voter turnout of about 60 percent. Out of that about 48-49 percent of people voted for Trump we are looking at a rough number of 30 percent voting for Trump. Or, a little less than one in three people.

Beyond that, he was elected. Being elected is, despite appearances, not a permit to behave and do whatever you want. It is a sign of people's trust in you. That trust still needs to be lived up to and kept.

Even polling Trump voters this month, we're below 70 percent still supporting him. That means that within the first few months he has already lost the support that got him elected.

Of course any sane person would call for a vote of no confidence and a new election.

@Avicenna Knowing Trump's extreme hatred of laws, the Constitution, and anybody that disagrees with him. and the extreme measures he is taking to drag America down does justify calling for it. And way Trump incited his followers to attack the Capitol four years ago violated those codes.
"Whoever incites, sets on foot, assists, or engages in any rebellion or insurrection against the authority of the United States or the laws thereof, or gives aid or comfort thereto, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States."
So he should have been arrested and incapable of becoming president. And now he has pardoned all his fellow criminals and turned them loose on honest Americans. I guess you are the one who should familiarize yourself with those codes.

Most Russians don't believe anything from their political leaders, it's just that they have adapted living in an authoritarian regime for 100+ years now. They know they have no free choice.

Step by step they are choosing so. Many joining the fighting army now are prisoners, poor older rural men and pressured young people at the end of their draft. I have seen the Russians dogging mass graves for their own soldiers, so they don't have to pay out the premiums. And word gets around Russia, however slowly.
