The Soviet Union thought losing 10,000 people over the course of a decade was too costly in Afghanistan, and they’ve lost far more than that in Ukraine, yet people still follow this loser Putin? What kind of a person gets in the uniform and fights for his war? They should remove him from power instead.

Putting aside that this is not a just war obviously, You’re talking about in excess of 250,000 Russian soldiers dead, for what? Don’t they realize that he doesn’t give a sh** about their lives? Does nobody think maybe It’s their government’s fault? I cannot understand the logic here. It makes no sense. and it’s very obvious they target civilian areas to simply cause terror. That makes you the bad guy. Especially when you use North Korean soldiers In the war too.

Its actually a lot more simple than you think. For the most part, people dont buy the bullshit that Putin tells them. However, the war is not really their problem either. Why? Because Russians are not being drafted into service and conscripts can't be deployed outside of Russia.

In other words, the Russians who die in Ukraine (at least from the common Russians point of view) are people who choose to be there and they are being paid A LOT to compensate. Even if they die their families are sent massive financial compensations (so that they won't complain too loudly).

Sending your husband to die in Ukraine is basically a get-rich-quick scheme in Russia today.

It does not really matter how many Russians die in Ukraine of they are all portrayed as either a violent criminal in a penal battalion or a fool trying to cash in. It is this perception that needs to change first before people turn against Putin for real. Or alternatively they need to start feeling the effects of the war in other ways such as experiencing an economic collapse that lowers their quality of life.

Because Putin saved Russia after the fall of the Soviet Union when Boris Yeltsin sold it off to oligarchs and multinational corporations, destroyed people's lives and almost almost destroyed the country.

Putin has modernized Russia, made it economically strong, kept it from being destroyed by the U. S., Europe and NATO, and it a safe and clean place to live. It's cities aren't shit holes like American cities.

He's a good leader who cares about the interests of his country. I don't hear stories about oppression in Russia like there is in Saudi Arabia, Israel or so many other countries.

The war in Ukraine is not stupid. Russia couldn't allow NATO bases on it's border. Would the U. S. ever allow Russian or Chinese military bases on its border?
Russia could NEVER give up Crimea, its naval base in Sevastopol, and its access to the Black and Mediterranean Seas. Russia would be cut off. Those were Russian since the original founding of the United States.
The Russians and Russian-speaking people in Crimea and eastern Ukraine were being slaughtered by Nazi-led Ukrainian military and begged Russia for help. Russia tried to negotiate a peace agreement for 8 years before resorting to a limited military action.

Another question is, why do Americans believe their own politicians and Zionist-controlled corporate media?
Why does the U. S. send money and weapons to the belligerent, genocidal state of Israel?
And why do Americans go to fight in unjustified wars around the world and kill indigenous people just to support empire?

Over 1 million Russian contractors died in Ukraine. In entire Vietnam war 280k US and allies died and this war lasted 15 years.
Russians are living in the illusion they are an empire, despite their industrial output and GDP is on the level of Italy. Tsar like Putin must be a monster, because in perception of Russian the winner is always the one who is bigger monster. More cruel, more brutal, more misanthropic. Patriotism is a big draw for the military. As for Ukraine, he's been promoting anti-Ukranian propaganda for a long time to make Russians not have a problem with the invasion.
