If you see carefully, US self praises itself and has used too many strategic moves. Russian and Chinese Media is less viral. Example - FB, Insta, Twitter is developed by US and US has its own double standards. The truth is US is too vocal as compared to other countries. Today India beats UK, China and US look eye to eye, equally powerful. Russia is powerful but does not do show off like US, UK does. NATO alliance itself is evil intention. It is mostly Americans who think this way. I don't know why they can't understand that not everyone supports Putin. The American president barely gets 30% support, according to their own polls.

Leftover Cold War attitudes, mostly. I'm not sure how it is in Russia, but here in the US, most of our high-level leadership, both political and otherwise, is still people from the tail end of the Baby Boom generation (those born in the aftermath of World War 2)- for some reason, the succeeding generations haven't moved up into positions of power en masse. While few of those people actually believe that Russia is still what it was as the Soviet Union, it's still a go-to, knee-jerk response to blame the country for anything going wrong, and assume the people are all slavish unthinking drones. Putin's actions DO NOT help in that regard.

If there is a war at some point in the near future between the USA and Russia, I think that Biden is at fault because by him supplying Ukraine with weapons, that is actually an act of war.

Russia got along with us just fine when Trump was in office, and now Biden pretty much forced Russia to partner with China (the USA's real enemy) because of uncalled for sanctions.

Look at what the Southern U. S. did when the American Federal government tried to take our property in 1861. Did we just sit back like a bunch of pansies and let them do it?

It is my understanding that the vast majority of Russian citizens do NOT support the war. It is just that they cannot speak out against it publicly. And it makes sense that they wouldn't support it. This war further alienates them from most of the world. A lot of countries don't want much to do with Russia right now.

To think such a thing is foolish. It's a fallacy of composition.

However, I hear that it is a criminal offense to speak out against the Ukraine invasion there. It's possible that the people who say such things use how no Russian citizen are shown on social media speaking against it as proof that they are correct.
