March 8th is International Women's Day. What do you think are the current challenges women still face?

International Women's Day (IWD) has been around for over a hundred years, as have many of the issues still impacting women's advancement. Since 1911, IWD belongs to all who care about women's equality. Celebrate women's achievement. Raise awareness about discrimination. Take action to forge gender parity. The goals have always been to create a world that's diverse, equitable, and inclusive.

So in 2025, where do we stand on this? Have the times really changed in recent years? Are we going backwards or forwards? What challenges do women still face?

The current challenges  western women  (completely different story for women in the Middle East) for face are non other then the challenges they created for themselves.  And I know you are probably asking why hasn’t there been a female president. There maybe one day but it would have to be a qualified competent woman who doesn’t fall into the “hive thinking” mentality falsely believing that will get her elected. That has failed twice for both HRC and Kamala Harris.  I saw this theory below and it’s going to piss a lot of people off. But it’s the cold hard truth:  People who can’t defend themselves physically (women and low T men) parse information through a consensus filter as a safety mechanism. They literally do not ask “is this true” but literally ask “will others BE okay with me thinking this is true”.  This makes them malleable to brute force manufactured consensus; if every screen they look at says the same thing they will adopt they will adopt that position because their brain interprets it as everyone in the tribe believing it.  Only strong decisive males and aneurotypical people (hey autists!) are actually free to parse new information with an objective “is this true?” filter. This is why strong decisive males are the best options for leadership and decision making. Democratic, but a democracy only for those who are free to think.  So why aren’t women getting elected? Well maybe it’s because lots of people don’t (both men and women) don’t trust responses like this from Hillary Clinton   Nor do they trust Kamala Harris flip flopping  Now of course some people are going to yell MAGA and Trump at me. But realize this: it’s no longer “trendy and cool” to talk to people that way like it once was 2015-2023. Trump won the majority vote for a reason. And given women want to be “part of the tribe” some of them are slowly shaking off their TDS.

you got men trying to play in your sport, which if left unchecked could slowly kick women out of women sports because they won't be able to compete with the men in women sports. In some cases this could mean scholarships or even serious money in the Olympics for going gold if the Olympics goes all out on allowing men to compete in Women sports.

I think women have it pretty good already, at least in the United States. I can’t find much I am unhappy with. Half these improvements others have listed I think are unrealistic expectations.
I don’t get why Men are commenting on here either when many would feel threatened by women having superior rights. You don’t want us to be better.

Being treated equally to men under the law. Honestly the law treats us women like we are children with special needs unable to be responsible for our own actions. I think the big problem is too many male judges, female judges are usually more fair when it comes to settling women the same as men.

I think violence towards women is still a problem worldwide, I see and hear many examples working in remote Alaska sadly. There are many toxic attitudes towards women in the workplace, I think women also face greater financial barriers to starting businesses and perhaps the worst of all, women in many countries are not likely to get through life without getting raped.
Religion’s customs inflict horrible damage to women’s bodies through routine FGM.
Women in developing countries face huge threats with HIV, death in childbirth and inadequate access to healthcare in general. Many women have trouble accessing feminine hygiene products, fertility treatment, safe abortion and other reproductive health care.

There is still plenty of women in the world that need a helping hand. The best thing about most women is once you help them get out of a bad situation, they will in turn help other women in their communities.

It’s been proven time and time again, women are literally the glue that holds society together.

I think "woke" ideology is the biggest danger to women's rights, future and hopes. And politicians who have been forcing that agenda on the West for over a decade.

Trying to force women to compete against men in physical sports - the Olympics boxing, the All American volleyball player left with brain damage and other reported issues, quite aside from the potential loss of scholarship opportunities, are clear indicators that these politicians are infinitely more dangerous than any conservative group in the last 80 years.

In the US nothing, as women have had pretty much full rights since 1976. Everything since then has just been feminists complaining and nitpicking about stuff to stay relevant. And the feminist movement itself being redundant and used for purposes other then what it is supposed to be used for.

If women really cared about women's suffrage as a whole they'd be out there protesting in other countries around the world where women actually do genuinely suffer and try to make things better for them.

Instead they sit at home in the country that will keep them safe and protect them and complain on their phones about how hard life is for them.

Medical care is still a big one. Even in more "equal" contries like USA, women still take years longer to get properly diagnosed (despite going to the doctor sooner on average than men), and that delay can cause lifelong effects from untreated illness or symptoms. Also things like getting proper dosage of pain medication, or even being offered pain meds at all for some painful procedures.

Not to mention some other, less "equal" contries have even worse things going on in women's health care than the USA has right now.

The whole world has come a long way towards women's rights and equality, but it's certainly not "over" yet.

-Not knowing how to cook and clean properly

-Not knowing when to STFU

-Not knowing how to be loyal

-Thinking having northern mounds and a southern hole makes them the greatest things walking on Earth

-Turning dating into freebies for food

If equality is the goal, then both men’s and women’s issues deserve recognition. Conversations about challenges women face are valid, but ignoring or dismissing men’s struggles creates an imbalance. True equality means addressing both.
