Theodore Roosevelt was a ‘Progressive’ in the fashion of breaking up trusts, standing with the muckrakers, making sure to conserve natural resources, and support ordinary Americans. Though he did have a quarrel with Upton Sinclair since he was a ‘Liberal’ & Teddy was a ‘Conservative’.

They are just labels now to fling mud at. Conservative, Liberal, who cares? Be yourself and make with that label what you make it. Don’t let others dissuade you from being the best you, that you can be.

I think this muddles up the argument really. We have clearly defined and used terms for left and right. You are correct that most people are centered and sway just a bit one way or the other.

Just the way Theodore Roosevelt is, I believe we can be on party lines while working with one another…. Arnold Swartenagger is a modern version of a Teddy Roosevelt. Sex positivy for hook up and sex work is not good either, it promote sex trafficking, all countries who allow prostitutin have a high sex trafficking percentage compared to those that don't allow it.
