What part has been violated in this case?
Sounded like trump wanted to buy the red car, and promoted the cas thats his right. Why is the left squaking about promotion of e cars... I thought they liked them to save the planet?
why should I expend effort concerned about this when govt has been wasting taxpayer $ for decades and now our debt is a mess?
Sell Teslas in the front lawn for all I care with autographs by Musk and charge a $100,000 fee... put into the treasury. Sell 1000 of them... not even close to making a dent in the debt. Lets talk about something very important...
Musk even gave the smarmy used car salesman a script!
MAGA: imagine if you will Taylor Swift hawking her CDs from the oval office for 90 minutes w/ a script provided by her after being made head of the department of entertainment.
Sean hannitys head would explode for 10 months at defcon 1. The articles of impeachment would be drawn up before the informercial even ended...

They only care about things when it's convenient for them to care. When Trump and a Democrat do the exact same thing, they lose their minds over a Democrat doing it and make excuses why Trump doing it is perfectly ok. They don't actually care about laws and freedom and the constitution if it's getting in the way of King Trump. If he were to cancel any and all future elections to stay in power, they would celebrate the death of democracy.
Supporting American business?
Should he gave a VW, Mercedes, porche, Audi or other nazi car manufacturers on the white house lawn?

Remember when Biden supported segregation and kamala locked up innocent black men.
Promoting American buisness and jobs is against the constitution?

Remember that most of the MAGA cult is basically illiterate, uneducated, stupid and lazy. They have never read the Constitution and never will. They wouldn't understand it if they did. So they get their understanding of the Constitution from right wing propaganda in internet echo chambers from people who twist their brains to contort the text of the Constitution into whatever reality serves them. And as others have pointed out, the MAGA cult simply remembers the parts that suit their purpose on any given issue and conveniently forget the rest.
@OddBeMe,
No they were not middle class and educated. That's you trying to rationalize your participation in a cult made up of the scum of society. They were lower middle class at best and a lot of them came from shithole rural areas where education ends at the 10th grade. You think people didn't see the videos and the interviews a hundred times? You think we didn't see Buffalo Boy? You think we didn't see the old fat white men playing army in their Walmart camouflage and their kids hockey helmet? You think we didn't hear the ignorant incoherent ramblings of barely functional brains spouting conspiracy theories? If there were ever an assembly of "White Trash" America documented on film it was Jan 6th. Those are your buddies.
Well it’s complex. But it’s not simply poor white trash. I wish it was that simple so we could solve this cultism.

There is absolutely nothing unconstitutional about a President meeting captains of industry at the White House. In fact the Constitution guarantees all citizens the right to petition government (i. e. lobby). Try reading the Bill of Rights some time. It's right at the beginning. Only a retard could miss it. What would be illegal is what is defined in Section 1, Article 9 of the Constitution which bars any federal office holder from receiving "emoluments". That is to say, to receive gifts in exchange for services. You know, like 10% for the big guy Biden... Trump met a lobbyist and claimed he was going to purchase a vehicle with his own money in what seemed to be a publicity stunt to promote an American manufactured product. Presidents are allowed to spend their own money. There is nothing illegal about that. President Trump has been very vocal about growing American industry, so promoting an American product is right on brand with his administration's goals.
They don't belive in anything. They will kill gay people trans people in broad daylight if they could get away with it and then watch don suck off musk dressed up and say "that's my dream team president."
It really dosen't matter.
Throwing around words like ‘unconstitutional’ and ‘illegal’ without actually explaining what law was broken is just emotional venting, not a real argument. If you have a legitimate legal basis for your claim, present it. Otherwise, this is just another empty partisan rant. What specific constitutional violation are you referring to?

@OddBeMe, simply citing Article II, Section 4 without any explanation doesn’t prove your point. That section pertains to impeachment for “Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.” If you’re claiming Trump violated it, then state the specific crime or misconduct that applies, backed by actual legal precedent or constitutional interpretation.
If all you can offer is vague references and sarcasm, it just proves you don’t actually understand the argument you’re trying to make. So, do you have a real case, or was this just an empty flex?

@OddBeMe, That’s quite the leap. You’re claiming ‘bribery’ based on a Tesla commercial? If you have actual evidence that a crime was committed—meaning a legal case, an indictment, or even a reliable investigation—then present it. Otherwise, this is just speculation.
Bribery, as defined under U. S. law, requires proof that an official accepted something of value in exchange for an official act. Paying for an ad or filming in a particular location isn’t bribery unless there’s direct evidence that a government official received a personal benefit in return for a specific action.
If you’re serious about your claim, back it up with legal documentation, not vague insinuations. Otherwise, this just looks like another weak political talking point.

@OddBeMe, you’re conflating optics with legality. Filming a commercial on the White House lawn might raise ethical questions, but that alone doesn’t constitute bribery. Bribery, by definition, requires proof of an explicit quid pro quo—an exchange of value where an official personally benefits in return for a political action.
If you believe this situation meets that standard, cite an actual law that was broken, an indictment, or a legal precedent where similar cases were ruled as bribery. Otherwise, this is just speculation based on political bias.
And if your argument is “imagine if Obama did this”—that’s not a legal argument. That’s a rhetorical one.

It's not a national thing anymore, it's a media circus that's flimsy and highlights how fragile social cohesive forces xan be. Outrageous events aren't going to get folk to act for the common good because the right want everyone to think ONLY of themselves and screw the neighbours.
Americans are lazy.
Stand up and fight this.
Embarrass the hell out of them.
They are handing these golden moments out like M&M's
The right doesn't care about the Constitution when it gets in the way of them doing the things that they want to do to take revenge on people or even more so when it gets in the way of them making money. Making money is far more important to the right than almost anything else in the world except revenge.
What's unconstitutional about it? I thought EVs were the future. Shouldn't we all buy them? Shouldn't we subsidize them?
Trump buys a Tesla with his own money, promotes Tesla and Elon, and Dems cry foul. Y'all have no scruples.
So... government can allocate tax money to help an industry but it can't just promote it personally? Y'alls hypocrisy is on display.
Trump is the most Pro Constitutional president since WW2
It’s a mystery. But then again, it also says stuff about separation of church and state which they clearly don’t care for either
@combative it didn’t. The founding fathers were pretty adamant they didn’t want it to either. That’s kind of my point.
@combative no, but it does mean the government doesn’t believe in any particular god
Lol what's in the constitution that bans buying an electric truck? Lefties are quite humorous.
Also he sold the shares after being elected.
you retards forget Biden parading EVs at the White House, eh?
Do you respect the constitution?
not clear what it you’re asking
I am not sure what is violated here.
They care about only blowing Trump !!!
Doesn’t seem like it
