I mean, you could install your own sprinkler system with your own backup water supply like some sort of prepper. I recognize the climate change myself so I don't need to make it political like DrPepper did here. I think other users rightly pointed out how the insurance and banks see it enough to not invest in something that's going to burn down, get flooded, or just get wrecked... that alone should be a sign that you're up shit creek without a paddle.

I feel for the people that are just too busy running the rat race of life to give a fuck and sort of look down on the ones that see it but go ahead and heard them into situations in order profit of that. Oh yeah, buy this house that is right next to a tender box in a place where your local government won't trim the bushes because the planet, and won't stock up on water because planet earth... think of the children. <-- sarcasm Those people are evil and would have you burned alive in your own house just to save a desert squirrel or something. They'll take your money, sell you a dream, and then lead you to hell just like a gold digging woman whore will do. Then tell you it was some other political party's fault even though they haven't been there since the 80's.

You're right it's obvious. The only way to avert the disasters is to be proactive about avoiding it. Don't expect some money hungry cock suckers to save you even though you pay them almost half your paycheck to do it. They don't give a fuck about you or me and if they did insure you, they'll try to not pay for it in the end anyways.

It's a fact though, shit's getting hot. Hard to notice where I'm at right now but I remember the hot summers in the Mojave desert that was only in the range of 90's Fahrenheit to my early pre-teens where even a fucking retard is going to notice 120's Fahrenheit as an average day. We could literally cook eggs on concrete.

Best I can say is to be proactive about saving your own ass. Don't listen to these assholes that talk big game as if they'll give you a helping hand (as well as ask for more tax money with empty promises to fix what they can't control) and don't pay any mind to the other assholes that want to convince you it's all bullshit either. If it starts getting a little crazy outside (like people are getting violent), carry a fucking gun instead of being talked into or shamed into being a goold little Goy that follows all the rules. Stock some food and water and don't let someone shame you as some prepper or something... you're just looking out for yourself.

Again though most people, even the ones that pretend to care, don't really give a shit. They'll tell you to save the planet as they dump used motor oil into the water supply right in front of you. Or they're just busy running a damn rat race of life trying to make enough money to pay their rent and they don't have the time to notice or care. You can be an awareness junky all you want, and it's only going to hit mostly their ears.

Protect yourself though... do something that matters when SHTF.
