The following may sound insane maybe because it probably is and I do hope who reads it can understand a bit of sarcasm and could comment some actual helpful things that help to fix climate change.
If governments are so alarmed about climate change why don't they do stuff that can actually fix it. like shorten transportation of goods, or produce what we need in our own countries like we used to do before the mass world trade began where only a small amount of items was imported but now every country is dependant on world trade and shipping them through half the world.
Every country should be self reliant on their energy as we can all be self reliant but some parties in the governments are hellbent to stop that such as the green party in Italy not allowing the drilling of gas in the Mediterranean sea. We should build more nuclear reactors as those produce no harmful fumes and what comes out from their cooling towers is harmless and they are save.
If we really would want to lower carbon emissions we could also lower the amount of people who work to only having men work and women need to stay at home and become traditional wife's/mothers again. (Reduces the amount of offices and buildings needed) Men are the only ones allowed to own cars and drive while the women is demoted to only being a passenger who is not allowed to own a car due to the fear of climate change.
Also we add to that outlawing vaccines so people are no longer protected against viruses and will die from a small infection. The population will drop instantly that way which will also help fight against climate change as there are less people alive. (I'd say about 6 billion could then still be alive by 2060)
We abolish the private ownership of yachts, and private jets as those produce 2 tons per hour flown.
Politicians can no longer fly to meetings with other politicians and need to stay in their own countries or use carbon neutral transportation.
