Oh, for sure he has a plan. He is just really stupid and his plan does not work. Not that he minds too much of course, he got into politics to enrich himself and stroke his ego. He does not need the country to do well for any of that.

Its a little like this. Stupid people tends to have very strong opinions on how to easily solve any problem the country has. Things like solving crime by shooting all violent offenders for example. Well, Trump is an exceptionally stupid person and he has his own pet ideas on how to solve the country. Things involving tariffs, trade deficits, currency devaluation etc.. Or at least that is what I get the impression of by watching how he talks and what he does do.

So while his main objective was never to help anyone but himself, he probably thought it would be trivially easy to just make a few changes and get the country back on track again like he imagines it in his head. Turns out, he has no idea what he is doing and just making shit worse.

After 8 years if trying to repeal Obamacare, all he could manage was a "concept of a plan". This is the result of someone who only ran to keep himself out of jail and doesn't care about anyone other than himself.

He has a plan to make America great again by ripping up trade agreements and slapping ridiculously high tariffs so nobody will want to trade with the US. He tries to create peace by pissing off free democracies and cozying up to Russia like he did with North Korea last term. His plan to keep the US relevant globally is to make enemies with the entire world. His only playbook is to insult everyone with an opposing view.

It's crazy to me that some Americans consider it "mad" to want to cut fraud, waste and abuse in the federal government to save taxpayers money, force other countries with whom we trade to play fair, end wars, and stop foreigners from entering the US illegally.
