Or was the main reason the economy?

Or was the main reason the economy?
Trump was elected because he's the only candidate since JFK that carried through on promises to expose corruptions of powers being abused and to undo the legislations and policies that are infringing on the rights and powers of We The People. Unfortunately not everyone understands in order for the necessary changes to be made then the legislations and policies that attempt to validate and protect the harmful legislations and policies being abused must be disregarded and actions taken to counteract and prevent things from continuing as they have been so they return to being as they should.
The economy and the open border were the big issues but the rest of the reasons definitely played a part. Not having a realistic candidate and not having any responses to the issues Americans care about also contributed to the sound drubbing they received

I think itâs due to so many people being wildly misinformed about the nature of pretty much all of those issues, plus a fundamental lack of understanding of civics, economics, and basically âthe way shit works.â
DEI isnât the boogeyman itâs painted to be. The biggest benefactors are white women, in reality. Itâs also got nothing to do with lowering standards for hiring, that was a lie. I wonât go into a whole explanation, but the gist of it is that DEI =/= white guy shouldâve gotten the job but it went to a less qualified minority group candidate of some sort, like thatâs just simply not how it works.
LGBTQ issuesâŚ. what exactly is the problem here? What are you advocating FOR? FEWER rights for them? Demanding they keep themselves hidden from the public eye? Making it against the rules to acknowledge their existence so all the little kids who are wired to be LGBTQ â and are going to grow up to be LGBTQ no matter what you or anyone else does, and whether you like it or you donâtâ feel weird and different all while growing up? I donât know what to say to that other than âAre you serious? What year do you live in?â
Immigration, I wasnât even really trippinâ about that in the first place. Granting them asylum is a noble cause I support, and Iâm THRILLED for my tax dollars (CENTS out of my pocket, and yours, in reality) to go to such things.
If thereâs stuff to tighten up, then tighten it up, but Iâm not going to hear border security complaints from Trump or MAGA, the guy who snuffed out a perfectly acceptable bill to alleviate a lot of the problems (even if just temporarily until he got back into office if he could, if he was genuinely concerned about itâŚdoing SOMETHING is better than leaving the situation that HE says is a national emergency as is for over a year), and he got it snuffed out for the SOLE REASON of being able to say âlook at this terrible problem this administration has done NOTHING about!â That doesnât tell me that he gives a shit about the supposed impact it has on America. It was a political football he needed desperately to keep in bounds.
But either way: over exaggerated issue, especially in terms of crime. The Laken Riley Act, with all respect to her, is the Laken Riley Act because that shit happened to Laken Riley, and barely anyone else. But to have them tell it, itâs a rampant problem, like thousands of cases, lmfao. And it just isnât. Not from undocumented immigrants at least. Our own citizensâŚ. thatâs something else. Plenty of offenders being homegrown, exponentially more than anyone else, even per capita. Whereâs the energy for that? Not as strong, and thatâs weird.
Trans stuffâŚ. I never thought Iâd have to go to bat for such a small group of people so often. Thereâs not really a huge movement on the left FOR them, itâs just kind of âwhoa, what the fuck, leave them alone, they arenât harming anyone.â
Like I said before about the umbrella issue of LGBTQ, theyâre wired to be trans no matter what you do or donât do, and whether you like it or not. Theyâve been around the whole time, theyâre just now beginning to peek out because maybe they wonât get beaten to death. And Iâm not so sure thatâs true.
They arenât dangerous, and they arenât doing it to be perverts or get an edge in athletic competition, lmfao, I canât believe thatâs a serious conversation that needs to be had with adults. My mother got peeped in a bathroom stall at a mall food court when I was a kid. Just a dude in plain clothes, not a trans woman. If a pervert wants to go into a womenâs bathroom, theyâll go ahead and do it, they wonât switch up their whole personal identity for it, lmao.
I noticed at Trumpâs address recently, he highlighted a guest who is a woman leading some anti-trans charge who has a daughter they claim was sinisterly encouraged to accept themselves and starting living life as theyâre wired to live it. No surgeries or hormone therapyâŚ. just a counselor being like âif you feel most comfortable as a boy, do you. And if itâs not cool at home, you can at least feel safe here.â And that should be totally fucking fine. Itâs not societyâs issue to deal with that your love for your child is ultimately conditional and youâll love them less or stop loving them altogether if they arenât what you want them to be. Thatâs a YOU-problem.
And you know who WASNâT there? The womanâs daughter, who I would wager probably hates her motherâs guts, and rightly so. No mention of their well-being. Just as long as mom doesnât feel disgusted and ashamed, right?🤦ââď¸🤦ââď¸🤦ââď¸
And regarding girlâs/womenâs sportsâŚ. I donât care if they donât play with biological women. I think they should do an honest study and have an honest and RESPECTFUL conversation, and if it ends with ââŚand unfortunately, competing in this classification just isnât feasibleâ, then thatâs totally fine. I just donât want it to be like âGET OUTTA HERE, YOU FREAKS!!!â, just because thatâs no way to treat human beings.
But do you know how many athletes compete in the NCAA? Half a million. Know how many are trans? TEN. 1-0. The lowest possible multiple-digit number. So making this a Top 5 issue was BANANAS, like yâall practically made it up out of thin air.
Just a total non-issue that was in no way sweeping the nation, and also, not for nothing, Iâve never heard conservatives do anything but mock womenâs sports and female athletes, for YEARS. The WNBA is a punchline to them, and Britney Griner dick jokes. PLEASE donât look me in the eye and tell me all of a sudden everyone is now a steward of the integrity of female athletics. JUST LMFAO. This is just a way to attack trans people and cloak it in a reasonable position, but most of them are TERRIBLE actors, and itâs blatantly obvious what their true motivations are.
Also, when I was in high school, I remember seeing a picture in the sports section of the paper of a local high school field hockey game, and one of the players was a boy. I remember his name was âNilesâ, I thought that was funny, and British sounding. Sure enough, he was EnglishâŚand in England, men play field hockey. My friend played field hockey and knew of him. And the deal was he moved here sort of recently, he was a field hockey player, itâs only a girlsâ sport in American high schools, but they let him play, because he played back in England. No hubbub, no protests, no one crying foul about disadvantages or safety issues. He just played and it was notable, but ultimately whatever. No one cared, and that was probably 30 years ago now.
I donât even think about trans people, other than, âoh, ok, cool. Rock on👍â We rarely cross paths, and Iâve had zero negative interactions with them. They mind their business, I mind mine, I treat them like anyone else if we happen to interact. I canât understand for the life of me understand why anyone else couldnât or wouldnât do the same, just out of being a kind and decent person.
As for the economyâŚ. HOLY SHIT. I fucking CANâT with people. Hearing MAGA voters, and honestly just voters in generalâs apparent beliefs about how economics work, and the role government plays, WHO PAYS A TARIFFâŚ.. I am shaken to my absolute core at theâŚI want to say stupidity, but Iâll say ignorance instead. JustâŚ. Jesus fucking Christ, nobody knows anything about anything, and thatâs so fucking scary. And even worse, theyâre SO fucking confident that they DO. Deadly combination. Just running around with some dumb shit they heard on Joe Rogan or FoxNews or some Facebook meme. Americansâ heads are FRIGHTENINGLY up their asses. And everything they donât like, theyâve been given permission to dismiss as âfake news.â This is without question the craziest fucking thing Iâve seen in 46 years of being alive.
One of the biggest lies being told right now is that âTrump inherited a messâ with the economy. The economy was in pretty good shape on January 19th, and was still continuing to trend upward. Going back to American ignorance of how things work, Presidents canât really just âfixâ an economy, they only have so much control over only some aspects of the bogus picture. Like I donât necessarily credit Biden with the shape it was in, it just was what it was, and what it was pretty good, relative to where we were post-Covid, and relative to the rest of the developed worldâs economies. Like those are simply the facts, not debatable.
What Americans wrongly blamed Biden/Harris for (as did a lot of the world, many incumbents were voted out on account of âthe economyâ, so people elsewhere are dumb too, lmao) was retail prices. Retail prices are not âthe economyâ, thatâs corporate greed and price gouging.
Quick story: my buddy is CEO of a pretty big food company that sells to grocery stores, etc. Kraft-Heinz might be buying the brand, theyâre getting big time. He told me, direct quote: âI havenât gotten the memo yet to lower prices, so Iâm not lowering prices.â, and additionally said âPeople have to understand 80-85% is built-in labor costsâŚ. and every year when I do employee reviews, the line of people NOT asking for raises is a lot shorter than the line of those who are. My costs go up every year, so so do yours.â Moral of the story: the old prices ainât coming back, and they were never going to, unless Covid came and went in a month or two.
And remember last year, the economy was doing well, jobs reports kept coming out well above expectations, stock market soaringâŚ. leading up to and after the election, Trump said âItâs because they know Iâm coming back!â Then, everything is in the tank in under 60 days because of his PREPOSTEROUS tariffs and trade war bullshit that make ZERO economic sense, and now he wants to tell us he inherited a mess? You canât be serious, bro. I was saying âPresidents donât control and directly impact the economy like thatâ, but Iâll be damned, he managed to prove me wrongđ He has singlehandedly submarined this shit.
And I just want to know where all the people are from like last October who sounded like they wouldnât make it to the end of the month if âBrandonâ was in office for just one more day, OH MY GODđđđ And now these same people are like âchill, give him time to fix it, he just got here, DAMN!âđ¤Śââď¸đ Remember they were calling Biden the worst president of all time literally from Day One in 2021, so Iâm just keeping the standards the same đ
And lastlyâŚ. Democrats ainât off the hook. Trump didnât have that many more voters this time, it was more the Democrats didnât get the same turnout they got for Biden. Plenty of reasons to explore for that, thatâll be for another day. But the big thing was Palestine.
A whole lot of idiots wanted to âpunishâ Democrats for being too centrist (which is crazy, because the right will tell you theyâre radical left lunatics, lmao, theyâre corporate Democrats, Kamala even moved a little right for her campaignâŚ. the whole âMarxistâ thing is ridiculous propaganda.) and too pro-Israel. Iâm certainly not any fan of Netanyahu, nor did I love Bidenâs reluctant alliance with him, as much as I know he wasnât really on board with it.
But what the fuck did anybody think TRUMP was going to do? I think these people got cocky and thought âno way that Trump, exposed now as a criminal and a fraud, will EVER win, so letâs make it a nail biter and teach the Dems a lesson! But ultimately sheâll win and weâll be fine.â WelpâŚ. you fucked up. And now Gaza is going to either be an ethnically cleansed real estate deal, or it will touch off a greater conflict with Islamic Middle Eastern countries, namely Iran.
Complicated and multi-faceted, I could go even further about the onslaught of right wing media, and âthe meme warsâ and all that, but this already way too long, so thatâs my assessment. Bless your soul if any of you made it this far, maybe unplug for a few hours and rest your eyes and brain after all thatđ
Oh, and I meant to sayâŚ. the most maddening part of all of this, is if you try to explain these things to MAGA folks, they get upset and offended, and say âyOuâRe So cOnDeScEnDiNg! tHiS iS wHy I vOtEd FoR tRuMp!â
So itâs just âŚ. Holy fucking shit, man. Holy fucking shit.
Wow, you wrote a book, with chapters. Anyway two things, first a new CNN poll shows a 29% favorable opinion of the Democrat Party. Second, in regards to DEI (I stopped reading after that so only 2 items), it works exactly as you say it doesnât. I have won arm loads of DEI awards before it morphed into the flagrantly discriminatory process that it is today. As a hiring manager in the Fortune 500 (multiple companies) I have been explicitly told that we must hire a minority, specifically African-American is highly preferred. Only for white males, we were required to justify the selection.
And that we must have only MWBE suppliers for major programs worth tens of millions of dollars annually. It didnât matter if the web-contracted to white firms. I have seen less qualified candidates get the job, get promoted in record time and rewarded for simply being black in particular. You havenât lived this. Many have and know what it is all about. People have fought it but it is very hard to prove and it will cost you your job. But we know.
@Jersey2 Iâve been a hiring manager as well, not at anywhere in the Fortune 500, and in my experience, at my last job, the most you could claim was the owner telling me: âwe donât want black people; we donât want white people; we want sp*cs fresh off the boat who will do whatever we tell them to. And when Iâve recommended Dominicans who were TOTALLY qualified for promotions, I was told âwhite people donât want to deal with themâ, in terms of our customers. So my thing is that racism is SUPER alive and well in America and requires us to combat it through regulation, because our citizens are low-quality people who canât be trusted to be non-discriminatory. Even just the entire idea of what sounds and looks âprofessionalâ is discriminatory in itself, and thatâs no good, we canât have a country like that.
Also, thereâs just nobody I could possibly be less concerned about in America than straight white men. I am one, and to complain about just about anything in this society is absolutely laughable. DEI-detractors also just seem to have this idea that if you ARENâT a straight white guy, then you must be inherently less qualified, thatâs the part the donât say out loud but is clear as day.
Also, the point of government is make sure society is stable. America isnât a Fortune 500 company and should never be run as such. This isnât a business. There are economics involved, but that doesnât make it âbusiness.â The point of America is not to do the most/best business and get the most money, holy fuck. If thatâs where weâre at, then weâre really fucked.
Bottom line: money should never be the reason you ever do or donât do âthe right thing.â We absolutely CANNOT give money and businesses that kind of power. âWorkâ simply isnât the point of being alive. Weâre losing the plot if we think it is.
Here, knock yourself out. You will see in 2021 only 6% of these jobs went to whites. Now consider the discrimination of white males, then a lot of that 6% went to white females and much less even still to white males. Even your attitude says who cares about them which is discriminatory.
94% went to non-whites. Thatâs purely discriminatory especially to whites who just graduated. Two wrongs never make a right. If someone isnât hiring fairly then they need to be prosecuted in a streamlined manner so it is easier to look into and do. DEI has morphed into not white people as that looks bad on our reports that we get bonuses on. Itâs wrong, it is flat out wrong.
www.bloomberg.com/.../
@Jersey2 Fair enough, but the point is that the imbalance weâre trying to correct doesnât exist because of inferiority of non-white applicants, itâs because white applicants get preferential treatment all the time, historically, even when they ARENâT qualified.
Beyond that, diversity in your staff (which is GOOD, not bad) is only one aspect of DEI. DEI helps veterans, new parents with maternity/paternity leave time, providing breastfeeding rooms for new mothers, ensures older people arenât frozen out in favor of younger workers. Itâs dishonest to just characterize it as a thing that victimizes white men. From where Iâm standing, it seems like white men are resentful of actually having to earn their place in the professional world instead of just getting it handed to them because they look right for the part and they kissed the right asses. Shit, thatâs how IâVE gotten everything I have, Iâm not specially qualified, Iâm just white and well-liked. I got promotions over people who were better than me, in all honesty, but they were brown and had an accent, so I won. And thatâs fucked up should be regulated against, HEAVILY, if weâre insistent on a capitalist society where your very survival depends on being specifically useful and productive within such a system, when in the grand scheme of the universe, thatâs no measure of personâs worth.
First, veterans are discriminated against. My black female boss who was promoted three times in three years told me explicitly not to hire a veteran âas they all have problemsâ meaning PTSD which is ridiculous. She did want black females though due the special disadvantages even though she was just promoted three times in three years and was way over her head. I donât think you understand what has been happening. At your smaller company that may be an issue but to ask white men who are striving to give up their place for a truly lesser qualified candidate because some guy years before got an undeserved break does not make sense. Thatâs the heart of it. Fuck over this guy because that guy got a break years ago. Its not right.
@Jersey2 ok, but they arenât supposed be discriminated against, thatâs another thing DEI protects. Maybe it was failing to do so in your company, and that sucks and shouldnât happen.
I guess what Iâm bothered by is that you seem to equate âDEIâ with âBlackâ, and you associate âBlackâ with âless qualifiedâ, and I just think thatâs inherently flawed thinking.
I also canât stress enough that âsuccessful businessâ should not be any sort of North Star for our nation and society to be following. âBusinessâ and âmoneyâ canât be âthe pointâ, or at least not the ultimate, inalienable point.
First off they, white males, are indeed heavily discriminated against. Itâs more than that shouldnât happen and that sucks. It just modern full frontal and systemic discrimination. Period.
Further, I donât equate DEI with black people. DEI teams do. They were frustrated that white women were being hired in large number along with Indians. THEY, not me, put the focus on it. That was the end result that they wanted.
And you have brought up that I associate black with less qualified. Show me in what I wrote where I say something like that. Show me.
@Jersey2 Are you saying the veterans are exclusively white males? Iâm a little unclear on that part.
You just seem inordinately concerned with protecting the demographic that needs the least amount of protection, and seem to have an attitude that itâs their rightful place in the white collar work force thatâs being taken from them, and I guess I just disagree with the presumption of qualification and sense of entitlement.
A huge problem is that you guys live in this gray area you feel protected in of âyou canât PROVE what my silent motivations are, so you canât convict meâ, and you thumb your noses at everyone. You know what you CANâT say out loud, and a huge portion of your sideâs politics movement, platforms, and talking points seem to revolve around generating reasonable-sounding cover to camouflage the REAL reasons you oppose the things you oppose, since those canât be publicly admitted to in decent society.
You said you didnât read my whole thing, but in it, I covered this very concept with the trans women in sports issue. You guys know good and goddamn well you donât give a flying fuck about the integrity of womenâs athletics, but you PRETEND TO, because itâs a defensible position. But we all know you really just want to go âEW! Chicks with dicks, fuckinâ GROSS!â You canât, so you donât, and you pretend to be passionate about womenâs swimming or softball or some shit, and then you seem less ghoulish. Unfortunately, youâre poor actorsđ¤ˇââď¸
No, you just talk to yourself on here mainly. I hit a bullseye in that you arenât a white guy. I guess you feel it gives you some credibility when talking about your âexperiencesâ. Either way you are wrong and the country isnât buying it anymore. It is refreshing to see so many companies abandon this failed, racist policy. People just need to do what is right but not look past hundreds of better qualified candidates as they systemically do at the FAA skipping past hundreds of better candidates to get to where the ones that cheated by getting the test answers from someone but select them becauseâŚ. ta-da, theyâre black. People will die because of that one. People are suing black doctors at the highest rate of all races for malpractice. They were pushed through medical school and now are causing harm in many cases. Obama took down those statistics in 2014 as they showed the problem. Engineer, medical, technology⌠these jobs all require accuracy so the problem shows much brighter here.
@Jersey2 Lmfao, you donât believe Iâm white? Thatâs something else, manđđđ Is empathy that foreign to you that you canât possibly imagine someone would maybe stand up for others, even to my own possible detriment?
âThe country isnât buying it anymoreââŚ.. bro, Americans are fucking muppets, lmao. Something being what âa lot of peopleâ or âmost peopleâ think is correct IN NO WAY validates it as such. I think âmost peopleâ in Germany were down with the Third Reich back in the day. Thatâs maybe my biggest critique of democracy. âMost peopleâ are really fucking stupid, and at best, are just really uninformed/misinformed and arenât paying much attention to much else besides their own lives and whatever is on Netflix. So relying on people like that to make wildly important decisions like choosing leadership is FUCKED. Iâm all for giving everyone a voice, but âeveryoneâ isnât holding up their end of the deal by staying tuned in and being knowledgeable about current events and having a fundamental grasp on the way government and the economy function. But everyone would rather play Call Of Duty and watch football and scroll Tik Tok, so Iâve just kind of thrown my hands up with people.
And once again, youâre hyper focused on Black and White in your arguments. Like you seem REEEAAAALLLLLYYYYY convinced that only white people, and maybe secondarily some other race or ethnicity you perceive as docile and non-threatening, could ever possibly be good at what you deem to be âimportantâ jobs. And it seems to be very specifically Black people who youâre asserting are getting jobs they shouldnât.
I meanâŚ. you're kind of making my point for me. A hiring manager at a big company has a clear bias for White people in any kind of âbig brain jobâ, and specifically finds Black people, and no one else, to be unworthy applicants who can only succeed if theyâre the benefactors of DEI programs?
Thatâs very troubling, and evidence as to why DEI programs are an unfortunate necessity.
You arenât white. You donât speak as a white man would and It isnât the positions you are taking, it is the low IQ way of stating it coupled with syntax. What makes it funny is that you think others are dumb and you are smart⌠you know, like the Democrat leaders told you you were đ. Here I am, rich AF having worked in the F500 for my whole career and you who⌠well, didnât. Have a nice day clown đ¤Ą
@Jersey2 look at my picture, bud. Are you blind? I also have a million dollar view of the ocean, so Iâm doing just fine for myself. Happy to provide pics of both if it matters that much to you, but Iâm pretty sure it was you who I tried to provide a link to and you said you donât do links on here, so I donât know what to tell you in that case. But are we going to have a rich-off here? Grow up, itâs embarrassing and unbecoming of someone with such a supposedly impressive job to be this juvenile.
And once again, youâre telling on yourself. You donât believe Iâm white, fineâŚ. but your reasoning is my syntax and that I sound low IQâŚ. which is presumably a not-white trait? Your implication, not mine. If youâre racist, just say that, bro.
And I got a 780 out of 800 on my SAT verbal, I can write you something formal if you like. I just have a conversational, stream-of-consciousness style when I write online. Iâll do better on my term paper, Professor, I promise. Take off the tweed jacket with the suede elbow patchesđ
We all have million dollars trying to views then, although I donât understand how you got yours. But you remember that black people were systemically discriminated against and now it is young white males⌠and black people have huge privilege in getting jobs and promotions. It has switched and you are just screwing white guys because black guys used to get screwed. Itâs asinine.
@Jersey2 Well, hopefully youâre sitting down for this, but you can still make good money even if you donât work for a Fortune 500 companyđ¤Ż
I must be looking at different C-suites than you are, because the ones I know of are whiter than Tucker Carlson in a snowstorm. Youâre aware that white men still very much run America, no?
Yâall were cool with Amy Coney-Barrett when she was giving Trump legal immunity for past crimes he might be on the hook for, but when she sided against him on that other shit a couple weeks back, then right wingers started calling her a DEI hire, lmfao. I strongly oppose a lot of her positions, but Iâd never argue sheâs unqualified, sheâs very educated and accomplished, I just think she has warped values that lead her to poor rulings. The knowledge is there, I find flaw with the interpretations. And guess what theyâll call Clarence Thomas if HE steps out of line (probably not, heâs in the cult)? Heâd be LUCKY to just get âDEI hire.â
Honestly, just own the racism, man. It looks worse to look U. S. in the eye and pretend âIâm not racist, Iâm just being logicalâ, itâs not fooling anyone, so letâs spare all parties involved. Youâre coming REAL close here, but you wonât quite take ownership of it and say all the quiet parts out loud. I think you can do it, though, man, I believe in youđŞ
You don't even live in the two party system (uni-party) anymore. The fact that you think you do, shows you are still brainwashed. The Democrat party has been shattered and MAGA has been primarying RINOs. The party in power isn't part of the 2 party system fighting over fake issues on the nightly fake news and things aren't going back in that direction. You had a Marxist coup against We The People of the United States of America and the people said enough of that bullshit, this is America.
Because we've had a foreign invasion for the last 4 years... with MILLIONS of foreigners just helping themselves to our country and dem leaders buying them hotel rooms, funding them with money and fucking over actual citizens.
Some of you fools don't understand national sovereignty. Immigration can only work if it is in LITTLE DOSES. You cannot just open the flood gates. That literally destroys your country. Fucking traitors would support that. You have to keep the numbers of immigrants moving in at small numbers.
Yes, it was a winning issue for him. He got a tone of votes going after those things. Those things alone didn't win him the election but a lot of people heard that and said, "Thank god someone is going to shut the insufferable whiners up." Now we're all fucked.
The left did and were awful and the candidates had no vision.
Addressing the wars... maybe
addressing the budget issues... maybe
The cost of/inflation was a reuse to get elected with hope of lowing energy costs to lower prices.
The craziness of the left including gender crapola, DEI crapola, sex changes for children, free sex changes for migrants, etc..
It was a mix of everything. But I would say the main thing is that they were sick of being their lives have to suck.
People were sick of being blatantly lied to. They were sick of being stolen from. They were sick of seeing their children fail academically. They were sick of illegal immigrants coming in. They were sick of gender identity. They were sick of men competing in women's sports. They were sick of being forced to work shit jobs. The list goes on and on.
I think it's a reaction to all these things and the fact that things just seem to be getting MORE stressful and expensive in general. That the extreme wealth inequalities around the world are only getting more and that everyman is being left behind.
At that time it wasnât about how good trump is for presidential candidacy, but the matter of choosing lesser evil of the two. It was an utter farce with all that buffoonery further proving democratsâ incompetence. Only now the whole chicanery is of a different kind. (Doomed either way)
Mostly all the wokeism, Anti Male rhetoric, anti religious rhetoric etc. The majority of people who had an effective change in the results were young men. Young men across the West are heavily tilting to the right now. More are going to join the ranks soon.
he sold us a bill of goods, now we get excuses why he didn't deliver. like price of eggs, groceries, gas. Plus he flat out lied about protecting social security and programs for the poor and health care. But look at the money he's saving unless you count the money he's spending on his political agenda. Actions have always spoken louder than words.
A good mix of both honestly.. People were tired of the all the far left nonsense (even some people on the left), and they're horrible economics policies.. They've gone too far into Marxism and a lot of people are starting to see it..
Economy was a bigger reason, DEI it was in part for the culture war crowd, part of it was incompetence of the former administration and I am sure many other factors. Voting is complex.
Yeah that probably a good part of it. But Dems hated Harris as well, think she was less then 1% in the primaries. Combine the fact that Dems already didn't like her, the economy was pretty bad under Biden/Harris and the insanity with DEI and eroding women's rights in favor of Trans rights cost them a lot of votes
Millions of voters didn't vote for Kamala like they did for Biden. I think voters hated that Democrats always put forward losing strategies like pretending to be as moderate as possible leading up to elections. Leftist/liberal voters don't want Republican-lite or diet Republican, they want actual leftist economic populism. That's why Bernie Sanders was so popular before the Democratic party sidelined him.
I think it was all of that plus they were sick at how democrats obviously weaponized the justice system to try and prosecute him
Inflation? Trump has been pretty open about intending to implement policies that would increase inflation.
Less available workforce, more expensive imported raw materials, more expensive imported goods and less exports all will contribute to more inflation.
A combination of both but mainly an irrational response to the economy. It doesnât matter unemployment is low or the stock marketâs doing well when you get pissed off by inflation every week at the grocery store
Yes that's exactly why he was elected. Minorities was getting a little to much power. They don't want to make America great again the want to make America white again. It's sad cause every race in America are transplant from other countries except the Indians. They are trying to take away what makes America so strong. We're great cause we had the best from every country. We're good separately but as human beings we're great together
Combination of both.
But lmao to the Dems worried about abortion.
It always seems to be the ugliest and most repulsive women that are most worried about abortion anyway for some reason.
I don't care who is in power, the Republicans or the Democrats, providing they bring prosperity to the USA, Peace in the World, and bring America to the forefront of World thinking on Bodily Autonomy.
My guess is wanting a white ethostate suffering everyday and every way possible just so someone anyone else was worse off.
I only voted for Trump in 2024 and only because they tried to kill him. I was planning on voting for RFK before the assassination attempts.
That was half of it. The other half was we were better off under his first term than under biden.
All of it. The economy, the selling out of America, the woke craziness.
Yes and now you rue the day as a recession is upon us,
not really but its what helped him get elected. we were also tired of democrats fucking our economy and putting the whole world before America
Trump was elected because plenty of fugly, bigoted white folk wanted someone to validate their abhorrent beliefs.
trump was elected because he conned the country
part of the reason
All of the above.
All of the above I think.
It was the economy. They fell for it. Again
Nope, he want.
Trump was elected because he got the most votes
Yeah pretty much
