Democrats called Trump supporters deplorables in 2016, and garbage in 2024, do they understand yet why they lost both elections?

They say women who support Trump are uneducated morons. They call African Americans who don't support Democrat candidates not black. They call men who support Trump racists and misogynists. Are they really arrogant and ignorant enough to think they are not angering and alienating those groups? They lost ground with all of them this election, and this is one of the biggest reasons why. "Either vote for our candidate or you are garbage". Unreal. The Democrat party is a shell of what it used to be, and a dangerous one.

It didn't help, but they didn't lose because of that. These were just two of the most naked examples of what the left thinks of people who disagree with them.

As for this election specifically? Donald Trump ended Joe Biden at the debate in June. He made clear what most of us already knew and what the Democrats spent four years denying and were then forced to do what they should have done long ago. Joe Biden was bitter and angry about it and I think may have said what he said intentionally to hurt Kamala Harris.

Harris? I'm struggling to think of someone more politically (and just generally) unintelligent than her. She was tense, uninspiring, lifeless, soulless, spineless (except for abortion), off-putting, and just plain terrible. She blatantly lied about things Trump said or did (or would do) and tried to pass some of his policy proposals as her own. She began her campaign on RuPaul's degenerate show and did an interview on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast. And those ads she did in attempts to appeal to men (like it or not folks, we are a part of society)? Those were advertising equivalents of comedies about a woman disguising herself as a man, except not funny.

The Democrats were doomed from the start.

Hot topic? Lol, not so much. And the only reason it got any coverage is because knuckleheads like you have reported it countless times, not the tiny minority who actually said it.

There are assholes in both parties. What you've done here is what the Democrats did, which is take the a few bad apples and try to paint all Trump supports with the same brush. It's childish and stupid for you to do it, but it's a whole new level of stupid for the president to say it when he's trying to convince people to vote for his VP. I would wager that if Biden hadn't called more than half of Americans garbage, Harris may have won the election. But he has always been the king of gaffes, not being capable of filtering his ugly thoughts and just letting them come flying out of his mouth, and this one may well have cost Harris/Walz the election.

It's just one example of a long list of bad choices and policies the Democrats have exhibited for the past four years, and particularly in this election, which they lost in a landslide as a result. People voted Trump out in 2020, and after four years Liberal policies and woke agendas, and being constantly brow beaten, THEY WANT TRUMP BACK. Let that sink in.

Trump has his problems for sure, but he is STILL a MUCH better option for America at this point in time than Harris is. Harris was chosen as Biden's running mate ONLY because of her gender and skin color. No other qualifications, which was obvious during the last four years. The DNC hid her away because it was so embarrassing when she talked. It was always cringy to watch. And the ONLY thing she did during her term is enable millions of illegals to flood into the country along with hundreds of millions of fentanyl pills that have killed hundreds of thousands of Americans. I know of multiple recent fentanyl deaths right here in my neighborhood. And that's what you want? What kind of deplorable garbage wants that?

Americans are in a much worse place today than four years ago. Trump ay be an asshole but he's the asshole we need to turn right this ship. The borders must be closed, the economy must be fixed, identity politics needs to stop governing our elected officials, we need to protect our children from the ills of gender ideology and stop allowing "gender affirming" procedures and drugs with our children, even against their parents wishes. And we need a government that supports the majority of Americans who agree with me on those things rather than pandering to the minority groups and ignoring all the issues most Americans are facing. Americans want a different direction and a better future than what Biden gave us the last four years, and what Harris would have given us during the next four, so they are willing to let Trump slide on all of his issues to avoid four more years of the far worse issues we've had under the current administration.
