So to summarize: There might be many more reasons to do this than you yourself can think of that would motivate someone to sign this and there are many rationalizations that you can use to support the same group that is threatening your own property or even your life.

The best way to deal with liberal attacks is to follow them to their doorstep and do the same. For about two month our liberal neighbour was sending their dog out to crap on our lawn. We started feeding the dog dog food mixed with tons of laxatives and you can imagine how that went. Took us to court to try to get us to pay for damages to their carpets but once the judge heard that we were feeding the dog laxatives because it's owner was letting it out every morning to crap on our lawn she dismissed the case and gave them a warning

Tbh I think most people do things because people around them do it, or they grew up doing it so it's comfortable for them. Politics seems to be the same way with most people just sticking with what they are used to until something changes them if it's drastic enough.

We had a petition to put a question on the ballot about giving illegal aliens drivers licenses. This was in 2021. They were collecting signatures at the local BJs Wholesale Club. My wife and I went and the guy was set up in front of the store. He was a Vietnam vet and was probably in his 70s. There was some guy who looked like an illegal alien who was standing there holding a sign about fascism and president Trump. He was trying to intimidate people so they would not sign the petition. legally there was nothing he could do, I looked at the guy and then I said to the Vietnam vet that if anybody gives you any shit, come into the store and get me. I will be glad to stand with you. Then i looked at the guy again. When i got done shopping I walked out and I noticed the guy was gone.
