I'm not sure if he knows what NATO is and I doubt that he knows the names of the countries in NATO. What he does know however, is NATO is something he doesn't like because he didn't create it and he doesn't like things that he doesn't create which includes things like NATO.

As a the name suggest, it's a treaty between North Atlantic countries that we will militarily protect each other and each other's interests, as long as we aren't the aggressors.

I THINK, it was started after World War II. I don't think I know every single country that's in it, but I can try to name some off the top off the top of my head...
