I'm not.

I'm not.

Not really no. I know what many companies think will happen, but the bottom line is economies are market dependent. If you replace workers, then you have no market. The entire idea behind markets is to exchange labor. You spent your time growing apples and I spent my time making software and we are bartering the end result of our labor. So if you eliminate all the labor, there is no market. Thus it doesn't matter how many fancy products you make with AI, because there is no one to buy them in their hypothetical world were people are replaced. AI can buy other AI's products, but they are all virtual products that demand tangible resources to work from the real world, that generally have to be touched by some real person. People will continue to demand resources to survive, so that basically generates a divide between the AI pushers and the rest of society. Parallel economies emerge where regular people keep behaving regularly buying and selling labor in the market and AI pushers basically self destruct over time as they deplete their resources. I assume they are neo-fudalists and they think they will be kings with surfs under them that will blindly do the bidding of their AI agents. If they go in that direction then they have to used forced coercion. This is why monarchs use to have large armies and they would have to go around and enforce dictates with violence. So they must plan to leverage robotic armies if people are to be replaced. Are they all going to sit around disabled like a Tesla at a charging station for an hour when their batteries run low? It seems like they would make easy targets for adaptable humans. That's an easy fight to win when you know where the enemy will eventually have to come to be ambushed when they are at their weakest.
It would be called the "singularity." Basically where an AI can code itself a smarter code for the first time and from there exponentially create endless amount of code in a second to grow smarter exponentially.
Right now ai is just copy and paste old posts. Once ai truly thinks for itself it's going to think to be smarter and smarter. That's the spooky part.

@abc3643 nit afraid but hate it, mostly by watching fake YouTube videos that spread false info.
but on other hand AI does help to analyze history better then we did or do mostly religious
I've had one tell me to go to the web page I was typing on...
Yes, once signet takes over! No, but really it is a scary thing!
Not really, but a lot of people have to be more reflective about the value they’re adding
This is what they said with automation, driverless elevators and self checkouts. It will not happen.
