I swear you’ve just got to have a cold, miserable existence in order to hate this man.
I’m obviously quite young but even just looking at our history, its been such a long time since we’ve had a President with such love and care for the country he leads.
Truthfully. I was never a fan of him. i never watched The Apprentice and I thought he was just another rich guy. I voted for him in 2016 because the alternative was much worse but I did not expect much. I was surprised when i saw him actually doing the pro American things that I had been talking about for 20 years. i saw my taxes actually go down in the first time in my life and in the 4 years he was president I saw my retirement account double. He made America strong again and he would be the last one to do an apology tour. I was glad to see him re-elected and I think he is the best president since WW2.
That's kind of how I feel/felt. Love him or hate him, you can't deny that Trump loves this country, and he's proven that he'll fight the good fight to put this country in as good a position as he can.

Do you have amnesia, or did you forget he is a convicted felon/rapist who didn't pay his own taxes, lied to banks to get loans, cheated on his pregnant wife and paid a porn stay to be quiet about their affair? Best I can figure, they were sleeping in the 90’s, when the lawsuits were going on and Trump said “shoddy work” prevented him from paying almost $70 million in contract obligations.

Trump is aggressive. It is his nature. I do think it is normal not to let people F you over. If he has that reputation then why do they continue to take contracts from him? To answer your question, once. They only get to do it once to me or others I k ow and then they are not one that we would do business with which is why it isn’t true. Some will always be coming up short and therefor they get “short paid” and the contract rules. Of a small supplier hired the wrong workers who then did shoddy work and the management of that small company didn’t do their job to make sure it was right, then they get what they deserve as the quality isn’t up to par which means they get short paid. If the short pay exceeds their profit margin then yes, they will go out of business and rightfully so as they do not produce quality. I am sure their lack of quality incurred other costs on the overall job so it damaging to Trump as well if that makes you feel better.
Just remember, he is a performer who is playing the part of President. He doesn't actually know anything about our political system of checks and balances and he is completely ignorant about the US Constitution, world history, geopolitical relations, economics, or basic decency. What's not to like?

At least when I am working for my employer here, I know THEY are paying as much tax as I do for the work I produce so that I can have a decent retirement, low cost health and education (free up to University) and a safety net if I get ill, unemployed or injured. I did not vote for him in 2016. I also did not vote for Clinton, for obvious reasons.
I did however reluctantly vote for Trump last year because the alternative was absolutely terrifying and the stakes so high. I am a huge fan of most of what Trump has been doing this term, but the tariffs are out of control.
