Months ago I visited my best friend for her graduation and I was around her friends; friends. I noticed that all eyes were on me and her friends were asking me where am I from. One of her friends I noticed he would always stare at me and eventually he started speaking to me.
I’m an introvert and he started to ask why am I so quiet. He goes on to compliment and he’s going on about my outfits and I didn’t think anything of it. At some point he asked for my Instagram. During the graduation dinner, he waited to see where I sat and sat next to me. I excused myself from the table and told everyone I needed to use the restroom and he followed me there. After dinner i rode in the car with him back to my best friend’s apartment. We had small talk and I didn’t know anyone up there so I assumed I met a decent person.
While in the car he mentions visiting my city and maybe he can’t show me around and I denied jokingly. He says he can’t believe it’s my last day he wish we can spend more time together but I sat quiet. I’m a goofy person so I can turn an awkward situation into a joyful moment. He points out that maybe we can keep in touch. I eventually say bye when it was my last day and I never kept in touch because he was just a cool guy that I met in a different city.
Fast forward, my best friend tells me that he likes me. However, he mentioned how I liked him and I was flirting with him. He told her that he was going to take me back to his place (which he never did nor showed those intentions). The story continues and he says my body is nice but I’m not that cute in the face, the dress I wore he noticed I wore a thong. I was lost because he never gave me an impression such a crappy guy. He would watch all of my Instagram stories the second I posted so I assumed he didn’t hate me so much.
If he hates me so much and if ‘I’m not that cute in the face’ then why stare at me every time I’m in your presence or act like you wanted to be friends?

I was NOT interested in this guy. I’m new to the city and I was not trying to meet anyone new. I have a life back in my city and I was not into anything but to celebrate my Bestfriend accomplishments
