Do Europeans like being fed an exclusive diet of government approved propaganda? Is free speech dead in Europe?

European regulators are preparing to levy a massive fine on Elon Musk’s X, surpassing $1 billion, for allegedly violating the "Digital Services Act".

This legislation is intended to push social media firms to "regulate" (censor) content more aggressively.

The EU’s crackdown on American tech companies extends beyond X. Regulators are also set to penalize Meta and Apple.

Like all totalitarian regimes, the EU pretends that its regulations are motivated by benevolent concern for the well being of the ignorant rabble.
