How do you feel about Venezuela freeing 6 Americans after visit by Trump special envoy?

Venezuela released six detained Americans, as President Donald Trump’s envoy for special missions ended a visit that included talks on U. S. efforts to repatriate large numbers of people who fled the South American country in recent years.

Trump announced the release in a post on his social network as the envoy, Richard Grenell, returned from talks with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, who started a new term this month following an election last year that the U. S. and many others consider fraudulent.

“Just been informed that we are bringing six hostages home from Venezuela,” he said. “Thank you to Ric Grenell and my entire staff. Great job!”

Grenell, who served as acting director of National Intelligence in the first Trump administration, posted a photo on social media of the six detained Americans on board his plane. They include David Estrella, who was arrested in December and accused of trying to overthrow Maduro, which he denies.

This news is few weeks old, but I know not everyone heard about it, so decided to ask anyway. I'm emptying my warehouse.

I think it's good to get the Americans out of there. I fact checked the article because it was from politico and it's not just some political garble... questionable arrests and so on.

This is actually where I just learned that it's a common practice to grab up Americans, and use them to get concessions out of the United States. Shame on Maduro.
