I think all polling is bullshit. The polling agencies aren’t even capable of running an accurate poll these days due to their loss of relevance with most of the American public. People aren’t listening to the fake news anymore. That said if that were true and if they were dumb enough to do that and succeed, it would justify a civil war targeting the left wing. That would just go from bad to worse… As a reminder, there are 18 million veterans in this country at the moment Roughly 3 million from the post 9/11 wars that have war fresh in their heart. Most of the combat wings of the military are conservative. Most active duty today are conservative. They would easily be able to train up and lead conservative gun owners all over the nation to mercilessly slaughter the socialists, and there is no army in the world equipped to come strop them. Trump is the only thing standing between a bunch of angry well trained Americans and the Socialists. He’s the peaceful option. No real American wants option B. Remember that.

I think the key difference is that I’ve never seen a poll where over half of any political group said it was “somewhat justified” to kill a president. That’s a dangerous shift in public mindset—especially when it’s being normalized as a legitimate opinion.

Disagreeing with someone’s policies is one thing. Justifying violence—even a little—is a line no side should ever cross.
