I honestly thought this court had 0 integrity left but I guess I was wrong. There are more judges appointed by republican presidents on the court right now so they could have made this go away for Trump if they wanted to. They have a 6-3 majority. But instead they unanimously condemned the treatment of this innocent man and ordered him to be returned. And he must be given due process if they want to imprison him or remove him from the country again. This should be obvious but currently the bar is set so low that this is considered a win.

Some people said the Gestapo act is getting in the way of donors who just want to make money from their government connections like regular upstanding oligarchs. And that's why the judges might have been influenced to vote against Trump. I don't know about that but this is a good thing no matter what the reason for it is.

I gotta wonder how many liberal minded women had a lightbulb moment and realized, if they married these single immigrating guys and the guys behaved, they could have become citizens. So many women on this site blew it...

I did not hear about this. I thought the court ruled in favor of Trump and that criminal is going to stay put. I really love how he is described as an innocent MSN. The fake news describes him as a "father" like he was Ward Cleaver or something.

How do you "know" he's a criminal? You're still claiming Trump isn't one after being convicted by a jury, and this guy's never even been indicted for a crime.

I was shocked. It's so rare that 5 or 6 of them don't automatically kiss Trump's ass and do whatever he wants. Their integrity level on a scale of 1-100 though only went from 0 to 1 or so with this. It's still extremely corrupt.

Yes I agree and they left some wiggle room for the Trump administration in their ruling. But it's still a good thing that they said abducting someone from the street and taking them to a prison that is the replacement for Guantanamo Bay is fundamentally not ok.

Reminder, SCOTUS denied to overturn the election results of 2020 against Trump’s vow that the highest court in the land would absolutely do it because of the tremendous fraud, of which there was none and Mike Pence was then put on the chopping block as the next scapegoat. Wonder who will be blamed for this one, The Deep State, Mexicans, George Soros?
