When someone says ACAB what do they mean?

All cops are bad. Yes bastards is another way to say it but bad is a better jumping off point.

So acab is more about the institution the greater institution of law enforcement then any individual person. If any person dosen't exactly follow the greater institution, they get cut out and ostracized. So any potential good cops get weeded out.

The George ford murderer and the side cop watching is a good example. A now convicted murder is happening in front of him and the cops hands is in his pocket. "What was i supposed to do?" Anything resembling protect and serve potentially would be a good start.

In the rail transit industry ACAB refers to the end of railcar that has the driving position, where the driver sits, specifically the A end of the railcar (the other end is the B end) with the driving CABinet in it.
