Ladies, what’s your stance on this?

This debate been going on for years about WNBA wanting to get paid equal to NBA players. My opinion is they should get an increase in paid salaries but not equal to men. Men play 82 games a year while the women play 40 games a year. The quality of games are extremely different. The NBA makes over $10 billion a year but the WNBA keep losing over $30 million a year and not really making any money. My problem I have with it is that the majority of the players complain that they get no support or viewership but the NBA maintains their league and majority of their fan base are men. So why don’t women support the WNBA? You can’t ask for a pay raise if what you’re putting out there is costing your employer business. Ticket sales are very low, most games don’t sell out of tickets, barely any national TV time, jersey sales are low. I understand wanting more money which the women players do deserve a bit more than what they’re currently getting but getting paid like a NBA player is ridiculous. I believe that if the players put out better quality of play and played more games, they could bring in more money & attention. I’m not trying to be disrespectful or anything; I’m just speaking the truth & facts. Ladies, what are your opinions and thoughts on this?

I don't support the WNBA because I don't like basketball, plain and simple. As far as what they should be paid, it should be determined by what they are providing. If the market doesn't support what they're selling, it shouldn't be propped up. No one owes them a living for playing a game.

I have literally never once heard anyone claim they should be paid the same as NBA players. Maybe you found one crazy person on the internet somewhere but it's such an extreme minority who think it that it was a waste of time to get on the internet to complain about it

My stance is that they are paid in proportion to their television audience. When they fill arenas and have millions of regular viewers, then they can be paid more.
