Here is my understanding of the most important facts. The courts had ordered he could not be deported to El Salvador. Why is not important. The administration confirmed he was deported to El Salvador by mistake. The courts ordered him to be returned. The Administration has ignored and fought this order. The Supreme court unanimously ruled the Administration must facilitate his return. All the other stuff is irrelevant. This issue is about whether the Administration will follow the law. Its actually a very simple issue.

I'm sure you saw the president of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele, meet with Trump in the White House, the same as I did. Our media and President Trump asked Bukele if he would return Garcia (a citizen of El Salvador, not the United States) with the cameras rolling, and he said "No." The matter is over, the case is closed.
